  • WHAT IS THE MUSIC IN THE END OF THIS VIDEO????

    SOMEBODY KNOWS???

    PLEASE TELL ME

  • @seraphimist I needed to know too.....its gorgeaus. SOMEBODY??????? PLEASE

  • I love this gay

  • Arkadij Arkad'evič Volodos' (San Pietroburgo, 24 febbraio 1972) è un pianista russo.

  • The great Russian pianist?? Now that is an UNDERstatement. WOW!!!!! He just never makes a mistake. He was absolutely born to play piano. Incredible!!

  • Arcadi Volodos is Turquish. He studied in Russia, yes.

  • @Kiarinadia NO. he's Russian. Do some research before posting mid-information, Dumbass.

  • I know personally Arkadi and He is from Russia.. and I'm sure because he's friend of my son.

  • ahhhhh he is a noob.....LOL

  • 1:35 ........ 0___0

  • i´m going to see him tomorrow!! i can't wait to see him playing live!!

  • @diamondsilvia83 i hate u

  • @belialah hahahahha it was incredible!! he played schubert and schumann... i didn't know that a pianist would play all those pieces to the public... i don't know how can i say it in english... you know after playing the program thay play other pieces as a gift... well he played 6 or 7 pieces more! including la malagueña! ( you know he was in spain so) it was the best performance i've ever heard of this piece.... so beautiful and powerful.

    1. Conservatorio Tchaikovsky...

    2.Julliard

    3.Conservatorio Reina Sofia

4.Manhhatan School of Music..(Evgenny Kissin recibio un titulo honorario ahi)

Ah ah

  • Smoke coming out on the piano!

  • 2:13

I didn't know pianos could make that sound...

I think we have a new cziffra on our hands

  • I can do better >:P

  • @fauxman Can you play volodos turkish march?

  • @violiniztapianizta I can but not nearly as good as this guy lol. His version took me so friggin long to learn. It's the reason I learned how to do thirds so well though.

  • @fauxman Man i can play it but its too hard to play the exact way that he played it! He uses a lot of pedal.

  • yeah, I guess that's okay... I play it a bit better. LOL.

    I wish.

    haha

    AV I <3 you!!!

  • MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • isse božeeeeee...koja si ti legenda!!!

translation: oh my god!!!!!!!! you're such a legend!!!! i like you!!!!!!!!!!! how can you do that?? teach me..xD

  • what's the music at the beginning of the video? it's very beatifull

  • Someone arrest this man, bkz what he's doing must be against the law!

  • what's the name of this piece?

  • @victorx13 it's the presto of the Hungarian Rhapsody, but this is Volodo's arrangement. It's different than what Liszt wrote.

  • the best piano song what I ever have seen

  • YOU ARE THE GOD OF PIANO~~~~~~

  • Buffone!

  • sounds like a thunderstorm....

  • Who is better, Arcadi Volodos or Evegeny Kissin?

  • @misspeckpeck Without a doubt Volodos

  • Impressive!!

  • he is alive you ass!!

  • my son of 18 has the same teacher..that had Arkadi FRANCISCO FIERRO. You can see on youtube..

  • And yes.. he is a God of piano.

  • Why bother? This is just irritating.

  • LOL noob. xDDD

  • @Strauchdiep the only noob here is you strauchdiep

  • @hjiuhfhrehui could be. O.o

  • Fabulous playing and great camera work. We all really want to see members of the audience and the pianists face, rather than his hands!!!!!!!!

  • the essence is his hands, what the hell are you talking abut

  • I think he's talking about fucking sarcasm.

That or he's an idiot (mainly because of the misleading concept that Volodos' fabulous playing is also sarcasm).

  • Don't you understand irony?

  • i think hes being sarcastic not ironic...

  • Can anybody tell me what he's playing?

  • Liszt Hungaian Rhapsody 13...you can find the whole piece with him on utube ;D

  • Thanks.

  • @Astraios91 Liszt's 13th Hungarian Rhapsody, the ending bit, but the thing is he made quite a lot of modifications to the original, so it should be Liszt-Volodos Hungarian Rhapsody No.13. The original wouldn't be as glamorous and impressive as this. For the original I would suggest Hamelin's. He's a master

  • thanks man ...

  • *gasp*

  • The perfect treat. Clear image, superb sound and the alien himself providing the chills. Life is good when one is able to witness such genius in action. His various transcriptions are something that people will remember for a long time and will inspire new generations of musicians. Talking about younger generations i am hopeful to hear Yuja Wang coming up with one of her own transcription in the future. She also has an incredible technique and the musical maturity to do so. Beautiful video thanx.

  • This was the first time I heard the complete performance of the thirteenth rhapsody. When I learned it, it turned out Volodos made a ton of changes. This is my favorite of his transcriptions, all the divergences make complete sense.

Volodos shouldn't hoard the scores to his transcriptions. :( I'd purchase them if he published them.

  • what is this piece?

  • this music is for future generations

    genius appears before.

  • when he finished , the piano shouts : "KILL ME!!"

  • all i can say is...OMFG!

  • Ô___Ô

  • hi! what is the name of the piece that you put at the beginning of the clip and end in the credits??

  • Man on Fire Soundtrack - Pita's Sorrow from Harry Gregson Williams ;)

  • that's amazing !!

  • He is Varry into it.

and he Looks like he Is not Suprized that He Can do that KUDOS.

  • thats fucking impressive!!!!

  • Come on ladies and gents. your comments are overly critical.

Whilst his transcriptions are often a huge departure from the original style of any given piece, give the man his due.

He's an incredible pianist, and even if his 'variations' lack much of the original content they represent outstanding musical awareness and understanding.

  • its the deadly ego.

  • Volodos is better than Zeppelin hands down!

  • woah there!!!

    lets not be hasty!!!

theyre two totally different music styles!!!

they are both awesome but in theyre own ways!!!

    :)

i do like this alot though!!!

hes amazingly fast... and the peice is so great!!!

  • Which piece is he playing there? o.O

  • A rendition of the "Friska" from Liszt's

    13th Hungarian Rhapsody.

  • Life vest at 43 sec ???

Was this on a Cruse Ship ??!!

  • No. This concert performed open-air was beside canals.

  • Arcadi Volodos > Yujia Wang, and did anyone else notice the girl in the life vest at 0:43? thats really random especially since people are watching to see him play the piano, not watch some awestruck girl in a life vest, lol

  • crap piece, just my opinion, but great playing

  • er, microphone

  • grandissimo!un esempio di bravura eccezionale!

  • CHYAA!!!!! THIS NIGGA IS RAW

  • semplicemente straordinario!!!

  • thats it, im quitting piano.

  • @makikubota dont just now you've watched this aim high

  • @makikubota Quiting is the best result for u.... TO be better thn him is a choice of mine......

  • @pine121 Trying and failing hard will be the consequences then you'll grow up and understand you have no gift for anything like 99% of people and eventually kill yourself

  • @makikubota so you love to play i see

  • could someone please tell me what song he is playing

  • its his own version of a hungarian rhapsody by Franz liszt.

  • hungarian rhapsody number 13

  • thank you

  • He didn't die

He will even preform in Belgium in November...

  • VOLODOS DIED?!!??!?!

  • no.

  • I love at 0.58 where you can see a guy in the audience turning to the person next to him as if to say "what the f---???"

  • Sick!:D

  • his fingers are so slender... unexpected xD

i guess all that exercise helps.

  • Watch your language

  • who asked you Principal Connors?

  • im talking to OorvakanSar, non of your business wut u say ringworm?

  • CHE ANSIAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • volodos+piano=heaven

  • Who composed this??

  • Liszt - Volodos

  • 13th Hungarian Rhapsody composed by Liszt, and transcribed by Volodos

  • but... who is this guy? he´s incredible

  • It says right at the top Volodos. He is my favorite pianist! He has an amazing cd with a bunch of his transcriptions. Click on my profile to see his hungarian rhapsody no 2

  • OK! thank you tysonMs

  • which is this pice????who is the composer of this one???

  • Arcadi Volodos Transcription of Liszt

  • technically - Liszt drew inspiration from Hungarian Gypsy 'Songs' whilst staying in his homeland - thus creating masterpieces!

  • What you call a "song" is a hungarian rhapsody by Franz Liszt

  • whats the song to the begining?

  • lokks like smoke coming off his fingers at 1.50! lol

  • Its coz there is! the heat from his fingers is causing persperation coz its an outdoor concert,,, wat a legend! lol

  • What is that song called after 2:26?

btw, thx for video.. Arcadi is great ^^

  • Talented but he mostly plays "show off" pieces.

  • im a touring mucitian and played with this guy rachmaninovs 3rd for piano i was 1st chair clarinet....he is fucking amazing not to mention he is the best pianist in the world

  • great the winners of the van cliburn competition were here and performed rachmaninoff no 2 tchaikovsky no 1 prokofiev no 2 was an incredible experience to see them yep you know at least 8 hours of practicing minimun

  • Oh crap, I think I may have had a seizure during this video, twas amazing...

  • Did you see that, Lang Lang ? =)

  • Oh man, if those two were in a piano duet, I'll be in heaven. Two technicians in one concert? DO WANT!

  • Wrong. One is a comedian and another is a musician. Guess which one is which.

  • Shut it, newfag.

  • no you shut it, you little nerd fag. go back to your mamma.

  • lulz newfag

If Lang Lang distracts you, you need to grow some attention span.

  • since when did i say lang lang is distracting me? learn how to read you moron.

  • Implication. By observing the physical attributes, "One is a comedian and another is a musician", you imply that you don't look at the music.

how does i shot web, newfag

  • LOL. what kind of implication. and what kind of physical attributes are you talking about? and by the way, we don't look at music because it cannot be seen. we LISTEN to music, u got it faggot?

  • So, you still don't get the gist of my responses? Why start an argument if you can't face failure? Responding with provoking statements. Just like a kid would do.

    Give it up, asshole.

  • no one is starting is argument. you're the one who responded to my comment in the beginning. and hey who's the kid here? u really do like like a mummy boy..lol.. plus, u dun argue very well. u cannot even justify your assumption that i was actually refering to lang lang instead of volodos. i have a feeling u can't think nor read.

  • Now, why did I respond to you? You telling me now that I started this? What don't you get? I like Volodos and Lang Lang.

The only reason why I responded back is because I had free time. I mean, someone wouldn't reply to an asshole when he/she has something to do. It just happened that I'm on spring break.

Also, if you're going to insult, at least consult your spelling and grammar.

  • oh yeah.. so what if i mistype a few words, mistakes do happen. at least i can read and reason.

  • you know..i think you're the one coming up with dumb responses. if you were actually listening to lang lang's playing, why would you get the idea that he was a comedian? i love both volodos and lang lang because they have different styles. you've gotta accept that people have different tastes for music and you need to respect their opinions, even if you don't agree with them. just because you dislike lang lang it doesn't mean other people has to dislike him too.

  • >how does i shot web, newfag

anyone who uses these retarded memes in actual arguments is a complete idiot as is anyone who finds them funny.

    Thelshter, you disgust me.

  • I'm sorry. You call this an argument? Besides, I only apply that to real life. Granted I looked stupid, but this is the internet.

I'm actually thankful that you replied. Good to see someone on my level that also listens to classical music.

  • I must admit I was rather shocked to see another one of us watching Volodos play.

  • although it was wrong of fanguism to insult lang lang like that, you shouldn't have insulted him in that manner. if you properly persuaded him that he can't just make a careless comment like that, he might've actually listened to you.
