What about when the baby has a disease that would kill it shortly after it was born, or is the result of a rape, or if the mother could support a child when she got pregnant but ran into problems and no longer can?

@URProductions Your entire argument is that people who have sex and get pregnant, whether on purpose or by accident, should be forced to give birth to the baby since apparently it doesn't matter if they change their mind or run into financial difficulties. I say that they should be able to change their mind. Having a kid is a pretty big responsibility, would you prefer it to be rushed into, and the child leads a less than satisfactory life, or the parents wait a while and decide what to do?

If people aren't ready for the responsibility of parenthood, then the real trick is making sure they full grasp the concept that having unprotected sex = baby in nine months. If people can't grasp that simple little concept, then they shouldn't be allowed abortion outside of incest, harm to the mother, or rape (pregnancy from which is fecking rare, I might add). True responsibility is owning up to your mistakes.
