  • Ooh pretty new coloured lights :)

I missed them last year :( So did a few of my friends. When were they up and operating?

Feel free to put them up in November this year! :)

  • @MermaidSteve -- I normally try to have them up by 1st of Dec, but last year was so hectic and crazy (doing everything from scratch again) that I didn't have it running until the 12th or so. :-)

  • oooh i luv it :D greetings from holland!

  • I'm not usually a fan of big light shows outside of Vegas, but this is perfect. Just the right amount of light and amazing colors. Do you make the LED lights yourself?

  • @xilityful -- Thanks! I didn't make the LED strings myself by hand; that would have taken too long. :-) I had them custom made for me by a manufacturer in China.

  • I swear that this had to have caused a wreck.

  • Excellent light show; I would've driven from the other side of Brisbane if i known that you'd updated your display. :)

Question - Are you using RGB pixels or seperate strings grouped together for RGB?

The guys @ the AusChristmasLighting forums would be most interested to hear about your display setup too!

  • @netbootdisk -- it's still running until the new year if you still want to see it. Every night from 7 until at least 9 or so. :-)

They're strings of RGB LEDs, but not individually pixel-controllable; wasn't worth the cost and overhead for the style of display I do.

I'm on AusChristmasLighting; just been too busy to get involved. :-)
