So glad that I came across this again. All I wanted was to watch the video for 'New Moon on Monday.' How silly of me to think that I would be satified with watching just ONE Duran Duran video. I know its been more than an hour...and I'm still at it.....I'm a Duran junkie!!

OMG I saw the first image there in a book in my school library - New Romantics: The Look.

Check it out, it also said they're Birmingham's answer to Spandeau Ballet, but I think the Durans are better.

And there's another book - Encyclopaedia of Classic 80's Pop - which has a picture of Simon, Nick and John. And it rates them as five-star!!!

I have spent the last 4 days/nights watching Duran Duran videos and tributes and downloading many of their songs onto my cell phone (even have 'Shadows On Your Side as a ring tone). I've never had a better time reliving some of the best days of my young teenage years. Who ever thought you could have a crush on 5 guys at once? After all this time (I'm almost 40), I still know their songs by heart and my heart still skips a beat when I hear them on the radio. Thanks for bringing it all back!!

Love the period photos - they had style in abundance more than any in their day. They carried it off so effortlessly. They singlehandedly define the words 'new romantic'. Would have liked to have been old enough to have tried to copy them myself!

BTW Lovely song. Another classic DD b-side. Simon's lyrics are excellent.

Oh! Where can I get these pics? Is there a DD book available to buy with these or pics like them in it?

@thirdpirate I used to get all these picture books of Duran Duran back in the day(ahem,that would be the 1980's!) at a flea market here that imported them from Japan.My older sister and I were huge Durannies and continue to be to this day,some 29 yrs later!P.S:I think i owned just about every picture used in this video!Lol.
