i disagree with you that the book is about Alaska! Pudge grows up and she is the main person that helps him but its more about how he finds himself through her

this was definately the best book i have ever read. i haven't read it in a few months now, but right after i got it i read it three times within a week. it was extremely well-written, and was just amazing all together.

have you heard that paramount is making a movie from it to come out in 2010? they're going to rename it to "famous last words", too. i'm not sure if i would like the movie as much as the book, but i guess we'll just have to wait and see.
