  • Man, you know what is baking! Very cool. =)

  • LOL...

    Love the Damping Stage...

  • Hi Lea!

You could have put raisins in it and have raisin bread.

  • The thing with bread machine breads is they are generally smaller loaves and they are so damned yummy that you shouldn't have any leftovers ;) Well, your little bitty loaf would probably last you two weeks but three people in our house...it's gone in a meal.

  • It looked totally crunchy and yummy.

  • I think I have the towel thing down now. LOL. I am definitely going to make this. And I will name it Lea. LOL. Post more cooking vids. Love your comments.

  • It's been years since I made bread, and I don't recall making it like that LOL.

Atleast I got to watch Lea "butter her bread".

    Thanks

    ;-)

  • You're right. Bread made in a bread machine tends to go stale faster, plus it's a square little lump.

  • very cool o' needy "one" but "two" took beating and stabbing much more interesting and you even showed your knife collection. ok, now i want fresh bread. thanks

Great balance in the kitchen, Lea =)

    Enjoyed

  • balance is yay =)

heidi has been posting over dere...

  • awesome thank you sooo much I saw ur twitter and logged right on to yt @ work oopppss, but i had to thank you!!

  • you may want to play w whiter flours too, they may go better w reg sugar instead of wheat, which wants honey.

    have fun!

  • Yum!! Nothing better than fresh warm bread straight from the oven! Brava!! :-)

  • thanks caylyn =)

  • lol that's my butter, too! shit stays good a long time, too. for flax seeds it's best to grind em so the inner core gets released. otherwise seeds have a tendency of going thru the body too fast to be used & have the tendency to get trapped in walls of the colon. you can use a coffee grinder on the seeds & use some over cereal or the way i eat it is mixed up in juice.

  • i need a lil coffee grinder....

  • what about hemp seeds?

  • i use shelled only to get the most nutritious part & avoid the whole sticking to the insides thing. manitoba harvest brand has a good product out. dont use it much, am more into flax. seems to have more lipids.

  • yeah i would mess w flax more...i used to have flax oil, that i included in the bread...i should have mentioned that! anywho, if my joint vitamin didnt work so well on my bones, i would be on more flax....

you should do another food cooking vid ms veg

  • youtube ate my comment and im not rewritng it but i like you and your bread.

  • damn yt

  • turned out nice despite the 'old' yeast, well done lea. i have to agree with the assessment of bread machine bread, although we do use it (fresh bread doesn't last more than a day around wendy anyways ya know). i have had good luck, especially with quick breads, wrapping in plastic wrap then foil. my mother, who bakes tons of bread, stores in the big ziplock bags. meh, personal preference :)

  • i bought a bread maker recently...am gonna try it after i move...

will remember that about double wrapping..thx!

  • Nice job! I Never made a loaf of bread, before.

Are u aware that soy was the 1st food product to be GM'ed. It's in that buttery spread, the wheat to make the flour etc. Can't escape the damn stuff!

Whats the deal with no honey and vegans?

    Cheers!

  • i am shocked that you have never made bread before!

the buttery spread is organic, so GMO free. you may not be able to escape it 100%, but i come damn close, i promise you.

the bees make the honey...vegans must consider bees an animal? i didnt know this before.

  • nice bread. looks good

  • damn i keep meanin to pm you

  • Now I know why I've never made bread at home, it takes too long! lol

Seriously though, it looks really good. ;)

  • omg never? you must try it sometime

  • All this AND she cooks too?!? OMG - very impressive. And it looked great!!

  • thanks danny, i try. am just lucky i didnt burn it!

  • Looked great.

  • thanks sweetie

  • most people don't know this, but

    'organic' means that animal organs

are ground up and added to the

    food...or somebody's old pipe

organ, but what the heck do i

    know?

  • ...even so, i would still eat that bread.

    yummy:)

  • lol...dont get blocked now ;)

  • I can only imagine how great your place smelled after making your home-made bread.

And, what's up with your infatuation with knives lately? Should we be scared?

  • it does smell fab...

well, i have always had a thing for knives. i have a collection. have wanted to show it off, but i dont wanna get flagged and vid removed..

  • Part one and two are fun and interesting videos I think you did a great job! BTW I have a bread maker and the bread will last for a few days without going bad...

    Five Stars!!

  • lets see you cook something!

  • Soon... :)

  • nice bread

  • thanx!
