She is incorrect, because he informed his employers of his allergy and they hired him knowing this they have the legal obligation not to send him on fares that they knew exposed him to dogs. The cab company made the mistake not the cabby. For all we know his allergy could be threatening to his health and life.
I have a service dog and I always notify the dispatcher of my dog, when I call for a ride. My dog's fur is considered hypoallergenic, however some dog allergies can be quite life-threatening. Since the cab driver was on record with the company, then the company itself was in error by sending the cab driver on that call. In this case, I have to side with the cab driver.
I think that the cab driver had every right to deny her service! He did call to send a different one! The man is ALLERGIC to dogs!!! It sucks, but she was a total bitch about that! Are you fucking kidding me?!
the cab driver DID break the law! It doesn't matter if you have allergies the ADA states you cannot refuse service doesn't matter if you have allergies, asthma, are afraid of dogs orwhatever! I would have sued them, that cab company is lucky. The director of ops was also way out of line, WTF is a few vouchers going to do for this woman? And I don't like how he said "and for her golden retriever" He said it like it's just a dog, notice he didn't say service dog. That dog is that woman's eyes!
@CaneCorsoLuvr your a fucking twat. so your telling me if you were a cab driver and was allergic to dogs and the person you picked up had dogs you wouldnt tell them to leave. maybe he had severe allergies. shut the fuck up dumbass
