The most annoying part for me on this level was where you had to kill all those skeletons in a certain amount of time. I always butt bounced into the water by accident and died or I failed to kill everyone and died. But it brings back memories

In this level, theres a maze controlled by Wormwood, the evil ghost tree. This is the brother of the Golden Fruit Tree in Pac-Village

This level would be nasty hard if not for cheap Rev Roll shortcuts that, if aimed right, can bypass the trickiest parts of the level, especially where you have to kill all the enemies in a time limit.

4 years after beating Spooky and I still can't find the Galaxian and every fruit in this level. The music is nice, though.

I personally think this was the worst level in the game. It was long and boring and hard and I lost about 2 billion lives. Defeating Spooky was way easier.

This level's the main reason I went back to Butane Pain and built up 200+ extra lives; if you've never played or have forgotten how, you'll DEFINITELY need them.

they way to beat this level is to play it in the dark. preferably at night with no lights on...then the true paths will reveal themselves to u and u will know where to go b/c your eyes are adjusted to the darkness and your eyes will pick up faint traces of light...so u will be able to see when the time comes.

While I was at my Dads, I was playing the Gamecube version (Bought it because I thought I lost the PS2 version.), and the TV I was using at my Dads place was so dark...I couldn't see the water OR some of the sticks you had to jump on!

I dare somebody to complete this level on a dark TV....The level becomes a NIGHTMARE unless you memorized the entire thing, or have a guide.

The Ghost songs have the best music in the whole game!! But this level is the Hardest one ever! even harder than a time trial for Magma Opus! What sucks, is i only needed 1 pac-dot for this level and i would get 100%, but noooo.

It took me ALL NIGHT to finish this level. I had to go to Butane Pain to get 125 lives (or more), only to lose half of them! And then my brother just HAD to delete my game data off my memory card so I had to reload and start over at Pac-Dot Pond! Really ticked me off! >=(

Back then, the only reason why I couldn't pass this level was because my TV was too dark to see the path, so I just left the PAC-DOTs for my path, until I accidently ate them, after I brightened my TV, I then just got lost in a giant maze...so many bad memories... x( *Whirr*

Game Boy Advance version you

I wanted to beat this level again cuz I got bored one day, so I fired up the X-Box and went to Ghost Bayou. The tree and the fact the level is pretty much a maze- I like this level for that. I was so happy to relive ol memories and then- I died so much I lost intrest.

Hated this level. Simpyl because it didn't give you any signs of what you were supposed to do to move on so you'd have to die 10 times just to get to the next cutscene area... and die another 10 times...

Glad to get past it.
