I appreciated the fact that we are here because of him. GVP was a smart Hmong leader during those time. One thing I do not understand is why there are so many people claim to collect money to help support him, but we as a Hmong community did not see anything in return. So where are those money spent on? And if GVP was a righteous leader as everyone claim, why didn't he said anything about those funds? And if it weren't for his use, he should public let the Hmong community know.

Yes, because GVP led us here to the USA we are here. But what did he do for us when we came to the USA? Other than collect money from people why has he ever give back to the community. His sons also established MOD, a well known street gang. So I dunno if he was that great a leader. Maybe coming to the USA was because of his own self interest.
