I love these Anaheim fans... ermm, I mean turds coming on here saying Perry didn't lose this fight. Watch the vid again. The best I saw Perry did last night was land maybe two glancing hits to Datsyuk's head whereas Datsyuk got some rights and a left that were spot on to Perry's empty head.

This also reminds me of when "tough guy" Peter Forsberg decided he had to prove his manhood by punching Igor Larionov in the side of the head while he (Larionov) was down on his knees after the play had stopped, which ended up with Forsberg's face bloodied in the legendary March 26th 1997 game. I absolutely despise the Red Wings but it was good to see Datsyuk drop the gloves and handle himself well. Zetterberg on the other hand is the biggest piece of crap around and I wish Getzy would have fed his greasy Swedish head. I love how the Ducks are on a delayed penalty and then Zetterberg runs a blatant pick play and there is no call.

@asykes7 Watching the play again, it WAS a stupid thing for Zetterberg to do, but in the history of these two teams it pales in comparison to the plethora of stupid, cheap, and even reckless and dangerous things the Ducks have tried against the Red Wings in recent years. They just don't know any other way to play. It's still a black eye on the league that that team ever won a Cup (with Chris Pronger leading the way with his usual stick in the face class, no less).

The point of this fight isn't whether datsyuk won or lost. Its the fact that he was a former lady byng winner and in the running for it the past couple years and was sticking up for zetterberg and the team and also showing he that can hold his own and won't back down. I would consider this a win not only for the fight (which was slighty leaning toward datsyuk winning and with perry falling first sealed it for me personally) but also for datsyuks confidence
