These people need an education, marijuana is no more a gateway drug to harsher drugs than milk is a gateway drink to alcohol. Anyone truly interested in RP's viewpoints needs to look outside of the likes of CNN and FOX. His opponent talked loud, but his arguments were not well thought out. @ryanworldleader Tar is just the non-nicotine parts of the smoke that deposit as sediment in your lungs. So in a way joints are all tar: there's no nicotine. I don't know of any reputable studies on this, but it's hopelessly naive to think that (a) marijuana smoke is all THC or that (b) it's somehow non-harmful soot that your lungs like. You're smoking an unfiltered cigarette and (probably) holding the smoke in your lungs longer.
