Mate they are on a patrol, trust me if every time you went on a patrol you walked on the sides of your feet you would be in the RAP after a few days. You only perform that when trying to stay hidden even in combat you don't, you run flat out
ok so im about to start my A levels and i'm thinking about studying medicine and becoming a doctor in the British Army. can someone walk me through what type of educationg/training i would have to go through? and what do i need to fund myself and what will be covered by the Army? and finnaly, how long will all the education/training take?

@JAkOB1805 no you join the RAMC as a combat medical technician, then once you finished your training, you choose what regiment you want to be attached to
line medic myself with the US airborne infantry, best job in any military! always enjoy hearing bout medics in different armies, nice to see we rock lotta the same gear :)
@AccessDenied55 frontline? hell no such thing as a frontline anymore, but i know what you're gettin at. i went everywhere my platoon went. everywhere. and yes, i was treated as a rifleman until i needed to be a medic, so if 'help' means laying down fire, a medic is right there with em
@richardhughes289 if you want an arguement please pm dont spam a comment on this guys good video and the royal guards is a job within the royal marines
Thats british spirit for you, he's on every patroll and still enjoys it, even in the conditions he is in he still looks at the positives and has a laugh. Royal Marines are an inspiration to all
This is pb Shamel Storrel!! i was base here in 2009 for 6 months!!! they only put showers etc in december!! its a huge pb with probly the best living conditions in nad-ali.. all the best jimmy 2 lancs. also we lost two guys on patrol there involving ieds one of them made the model pit and put that tent over it.. nice to see its still there .
ATBirdMan i have just had Hubby home for R&R,he's now gone back.Trust me when i say it's well worth it & when you look back the time flies by. Just remember no news is good news. Your son is also a hero!!!!
@LilBlueAsh Thank Tommy for his service, and thank you for your sacrifice. We have a son at Camp Leatherneck/Camp Bastion now who is a Navy Hospital Corpsman.
We think about him constantly and pray for his safety!
I filmed and edited this and working with Doc for the day was great fun, he was a good sport, going over shots again and again without getting bored with, thanks Doc. Tom Robinson
@LilBlueAsh I don't mean to be too personal about this. What is it like having a soldier as a husband? My boyfriend is going into the marines when he's 18 and then eventually going to be a sniper. I love him to death!
@LilBlueAsh my 14 yr old daughter is hoping to join the royal marine band and they also double up as medics so this small clip is very informative, thanks. after 2 trips to hms raleigh she is hooked....she is a trumpet player
My son is a US Navy Corpsman, currently serving in Afghanistan as well. God Bless your husband and all military personnel.
