  • Ana looks mad cute in this

  • Hahahaha, Dylan was skinny and weak!

Dude must be juicin' now a days. Really.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

  • @theyoungturks...today is Thursday July 14th 2011. Dylan Ratigan, on his MSNBC show today, had on as a guest John Hofmeister, a now retired, former CEO for Shell. Yes, THAT Shell that was one of the largest companies supporting S.Africa during the Illegal & disgusting Aparthied regime that kept Nelson Mendela rotting in a prison cell for 27 yrs. Dylan just about gave him a kiss on the cheeck for being on his show. Cenk/TYT, WHY would you have Dylan ANYWHERE NEAR your program?

  • tyt..... lol tit

  • HAHA Dylan must have dropped in on a local at Lunada Bay or something. Not all surfers are dicks. ;)

  • Dylan Ratigan is WAY better then Cenk!

  • They gave it back...

  • My sis met him a few times in NY, said Ratigan is very nice. Apparently she said Jim Cramer is a sleeze ball.

  • I hope Dylan does this again soon!

He did a kickass job; I starting watching him after seeing him on TYT through Cenk

  • I'll never get used to a black dude snowboarding. XD

  • JR + Ratigan = Badass, it's a simple equation really. Great show!

  • Big news reaching out to alternative media hmmmm. Can anyone say desperate? It is true that Ratigan could be sincere but do not forget that Big news corps have been losing tons of money lately. Here's the million dollar question: Are Beck and Ratigan truly examples of people within Big News actually wakening up to corrupt government? Or are they merely desperate attempts to save their propaganda elite-controlled News machines?

  • @Awaken4God Desperate? It's called intelligent. Every single corporation would love a pure outlet from which to reach out to the youth.

  • Dylan did awesome; I hope they bring him back more often

  • Whoa, how did they get Gordon Ramsay?

  • Dylan Ratigan is one of the most repulsive advocates of outright Jew-hatred in America today. Only a sociopath like him could paint Ahmedinajad as a good guy. The fact that he has the stars and stripes in the background makes me sick to my stomach.

  • @BroughamConspiracy You're a moron.

  • @BroughamConspiracy the fuck?

  • @BroughamConspiracy

    Jew-hatred? WOW, talk about random.

  • ratigan is hot!!!!!!!

  • LOL! cool ^^ Dylan Ratigan on the young turks and Cenk on msnbc ^^ I LOVE THIS IT'S SO ENTERTAINING!!! :D

  • @wiibot15 or maybe im to easily entertained :P

  • Did he say... "Efficient Government"? Isn't that an oxymoron? lol

  • love dylan. so honest, so moral, and does great job at any program as unbiased. please dylan stick to your honest mentality, can barely stomach the other content on tv

  • Dylan Ratigan is the best anchor man!!!!!

  • that ""pornstar"" was lary flynt!! he wouldve been a great governer!!

  • Anna and Dylan got some chemistry going on.

  • @Pilaf1984 I'll kill him. She's mine. haha

  • boo at jayar for ignoring dylan at the end, how dare you ignore a geust!!

  • Dylan Ratigan is amazing!

  • Ratigan was outside of his comfort zone. Lets hope he calms down and relaxes more next time.

  • can bubbles be created in air ?? I think that requires a relative high viscosity which only liquids have

  • dylan ratigan of msnbc. hosting tyt. no big deal.

  • @curlyfry1106 Nah not when tyt has such sponsors as netflix (sarcasm)

  • @curlyfry1106 You're not sayin anything, you're just sayin?

  • He lost me on the.. 'we're the only country that has media like this'

  • @NeccoWecco yea everyone knows the middle east has just as much BS propaganda :)

  • "YOUNG TURKS"! They only missed it by one letter to be completely accurate. It is a "D" not a "K" to describe the stars of this sophomoric tripe.

  • @DanTCerone Corney.

  • @online2onroad You may be right. The show is both corney and sophomoric tripe.

  • Wow. I don't remember the female host dressing that provocatively. Sheesh. {{-_-}}

  • @Suitsnappy She does it all the time. Only reason I put up with it is because I love Cenk.

  • Oh please that couple was not scared, they had a bad attitude, that woman got shot cause her boyfriend was a jerk to a defensless woman doing her job to get his kicks. This should be a lesson to others who think it is ok to use these bully tactics to intimidate innocent people trying to get on with their lives. Had he been civilised the police would not have been called and his girlfriend would have lived!

  • Ratigan was adequate. He must find himself, be a little relaxed but ok altogether.

Things is dislike: Calling Cenk a user, Hitting on Ana, (too obvious) and some shit toward JR.

  • I see you Dylan, hitting on Ana, better watch yourself! xD

  • Hey its the bigshot from msnbc!! hey ooh! Just like all corporate owned press, lots of fodder and no news. Was this a talk show or just a flatform for him to be joe cool. Bla bla bla....too negative? Aww were sorry the news bums you out. Hey go rent a convertable and all your troubles will disapear. Go back to corporate america and stop polluting what few news sources we have left. Dude.

  • DYLAN couldn't do a show with CENK; he would just go off on tirades the whole time.

  • "We're in a post futile era and the robots haven't taken over yet, as far as I can see if we get officiant government and discover free energy, we're good to go!" -Dylan Ratigan

  • dlyan was great, i want dlyan and cenk to host a show togather!

  • Why is it that the full shows aren't uploaded?

  • @MrTroxel

Because full shows will give them less money from advertizements. They get paid in ads in each video.

So more videos = more money

  • @AztlanMeansWhiteLand you DO know people download pop up blockers to prevent ads right?

  • Good cops do murder. Fuck cops.

  • Enjoyed the guest hosting!

  • Dylan Ratigan did an excellent job hosting! Hopefully we'll see more of him on TYT in the future. I'm also going to check his show out on msnbc.

  • @WellIAMScottish I agree, he did an excellent job, and I give him credit for trying something new.

  • Dylan did a solid job, hopefully they have him back again!

  • Give him a break. He's in a different environment and is working with different people; we can't expect perfection the first time round.

  • I wonder if the woman was thinking they wouldnt shoot her ~ that maybe she'd get some publicity out of it from the right-wing loonies, like Beck and Limbaugh . But they shouldnt have shot her 5 times. I'm pretty sure one shot would have done it. Especially in the knee-cap or something. She probably dropped the rifle after the 1st shot. Just one cop shooting would be sufficient and create a way more contolled environment. I wonder if her gun was even loaded.

  • @JahSpect I wonder if they weren't just trigger happy cops like so many other countless cases we've seen more and more of lately. Go ahead, do a youtube search for police brutality if you haven't yet. It'll make you think twice about assuming the cops were following the law.

  • If TYT wants to compete with Autotuning The News, I think it should add analysis of the news through interpreive dance.

  • the robots haven't taken over...YET! ;)

  • haha honestly I think I dig Ben and Michael more than Ratigan alone....But basically anyone alongside Cenk is a winning team if you ask me.

  • and what is so wrong with saying get off my property in my house or am i just renting land?

  • I think Nirvana says it best, "Here we are now, entertain us!"

  • Ratigan deserves a primetime spot...

  • if hes not pointing it they cant shoot them so they tackle you without cause.

  • Ratigan belongs on here with Cenk everyday!

With the woman who was shot by the police, it shouldn't have happened... you have to negotiate with people in their home. however, the damn police wouldn't have been there if they take part in the census, or just don't open the damn door. they were being confrontational, and got what you get when you turn aggressive. it couldn't have ended well either way once the cops showed up, it rarely does.

  • @hollaboutit

Ratigan is making big money at MSNBC :) I think he tried this as a friend of Cenk ofcourse, but also maybe Ratigan can stand his own web series where he's even less limited in what he wants to bring to the public. Who knows, I'm glad they're friend, I want TYT to make it big! Ratigan and Cenk unite to tell the people what's REALLY going on! Truth media

  • I like Cenk better. He gets animated sometimes, but Ratigan seems a little too spazzy and sort of unhip...

  • @GhostyFilms

Yeah Ratigan is just good you know. He does his job.

Cenk is a bit more special, more improvising/immitations/goofystuff/audiosamples I love that :) A bit more entertaining.

News wise both are about the same level I'd say, entertainment wise I gotta give it to Cenk for sure.

  • The east coast guys like this yankee

  • I guess Cenk needed some time to "unwind" in Amsterdam.

  • "Does this look like someone who is going to kill you at the front door?"

Um if she's pointing a shotgun at me FUCK YES I THINK SHES GOING TO KILL ME

this is why the common interpretation of the second amendment is stupid

  • @KVCunknown

Yeah but who's invading who's property? I don't think the situation makes for equal rights.

  • @KVCunknown i thought that comment was silly as well, but how is it so that the common interpretation of the second amendment is stupid to you?

  • @hollaboutit I just find it funny that most americans think the second amendment was put in place so that everyone had the right to defend themselves, which is partially true. However that was in the late 1700s when the American military comprised of volunteer citizens only with no real standing army. Everyone needed guns because there was the possibility of fighting the British at any given moment. That really doesn't communicate well to the 21st century because now you have people who are

  • @KVCunknown looking to "defend themselves" in these contexts that are now inappropriate with organized law enforcement. Or people wanting the right to carry their gun into starbucks. WHY DO YOU NEED TO DO THAT?!?!? That amendment needs to be reinterpreted for the more developed civilization

  • @KVCunknown disarmed citizens are slaves, though. and if you asked the common man of the 1700's if they should fight G.B., the answer would have been, "no, are you daft?" they weren't just thinking about their time, or situation. they were looking ahead.

  • @hollaboutit obviously people should be allowed to have guns, but it's the proliferation of guns in america that's the problem. People see it as a right they automatically have, not a privilege to be earned. People need to be properly trained to use fire arms if they want to defend themselves. It is absolutely MENTAL for anyone to be able to buy guns at any Walmart. Unlicensed gun owners cause these kinds of stories in the first place.

  • @KVCunknown i'm no gun nut, and i agree with you to some degree. i just think i understand why people are afraid of tyranny, and the loss of rights. sure, there should be restrictions, but it seems criminals killing innocents with guns happens more than accidents between law abiding individuals.

  • @hollaboutit definitely, and i think that's what more restrictions would help, both civilians and criminals who shouldn't be using guns would not be able to get them as easily. Cracking down on criminals is more difficult with black market weapons, but making registration for civilians would be a snap in comparison

  • @KVCunknown Gun registration is a joke. Registration makes it easier for government to take away lawfully weapons. Look up Hurricane Katrina. That's exactly what they did there. Also, criminals don't obtain their weapons from shows or stores. They mainly get them through family and friends.

  • The Ratigan sit in turned out really good. Wasn't quite sure how it would go but it went pretty good. It'll be cool to have these a couple of times a year for TyT. Next up?

  • the other way Ratigan's show and Cenk's show are different...Cenk has an army!!!!!!

  • WHAT THA!!!!! TYT has gone viral

  • Good to hear that even this veteran thinks they're chasing ghosts and that it costs trillions without getting real results. At least he's being objective/open minded about it.

    /respect

  • I don't think Cenk was ever too negative. He's realistic, and that's something we never see with MSM.

  • @AspasiaByName from what i've been told, begin pragmatic is negative and depressing to most people.

  • Haha, I love Dylans assessment of California. He's exactly right, I surf and there's no bigger group of grumpy kooks than the ones who float in the ocean off the california coast. Hawaii is worse.

  • Comon... Ratigan, why do you want more entertainment into this news channel? Cenk is good enough to bring you serious news and still come out funny... Not much like the mainstream media...? I would sure stop watching this channel if it only came with non-sensical garbage.

  • I like Dylan, he should host some more, but he should also take note that he's not on TV right now ad shouldn't yell so much... and not to hit on the other anchor, even if she is as attractive as Ana (in his defense, totally understandable lol).

  • Dylan iz awesome on his show but I still miss Cenk. Where iz he by the way? lol

  • @colinsilver105

If you'd listened to this video for 1 minute, you'd know Cenk is in Amsterdam now

  • @SinisterSkip It was a rhetorical question. Calm down.

  • @colinsilver105 ARE YOU STUPID, OR JUST DEAF??? In the first 30 seconds of the video Dylan says where Cenk is. You fucking moron.

  • @LtShock Relax Sherlock, I heard him say where Cenk was. It was a rhetorical question. R u that silly that u couldn't figure that out b4 u replied with ALL CAPS? Its just something u say when its clearly obvious sum1's missing n u wished they were present. DUH!!!

  • I was dubious at first, but Ratigan did a decent job. For a new format, in a new studio, etc, I think he did well enough, nervous at times but who woyuldn't be. Good job overall.

  • ratigan is great...he seemed nervous to me though..lol

  • Lol we all know what someone could do in Amersterdam to kill time...

  • Comment removed

  • Ratigan had his share of awkward moments, but overall he did a pretty good job. And for those saying he is a attention whore, realize that he is used to the camera only being on him. The focus isn't on just him on this show, and it is pretty different format. Give the guy a break.

  • Dylan and Cenk would be great together. Dylan on his own is all over the place and a little too stiff imo.

  • ratigan seems very casual on his chair compared to his show

  • go dylan

  • Awesome show and I love that Ratigan came on. Imagine he and Cenk hosting together. It's shows like this and the Ratigan show that make me believe there're still honest people out there.

On a side note, I think JR is looking especially gorgeous in this one. His skin is just glowing. Dylan stop trying to him away or I'm coming for ya...

  • @dreamsatsea *...to lure him away...*

  • Dylan Ratigan!! OH wow!! Who the fuck is he?

  • "And the robots haven't taken over yet."

The more I hear Dylan, the more I like him.

  • DONT GO JAY!

  • i would preferred if it was Dylan and Cenk hosting together.

  • fuck that. as much as i think cenk is a great political commentator, i wouldn't trade ana's huge titties for anything.

  • @assas1n101: I didn't mean permanently, but lets be honest the convo between Dylan and Cenk was going to be more interesting then Ana and Dylan.

  • Everyone should be writting Fox news and thanking them for forcing Obama to care about the environment and to stop being so friendly to nasty businesses. They have been much more effective in the last few days at forcing him to finally start working on doing something than those of us who voted for him a year and a half ago.

  • LOL at the beginning! I bet Cenk is in Holland smoking pot xD

  • @funnycatsvid

    I agree

  • wow this is interesting. Dylan Ratigan on TYT lol

  • whats with this son, he looking to become a reporter. and cry me a river, the dumb bitch threatened officers with a weapon, police don't fuck around. sorry she's dead but it wasn't any "rookie cop's" fault

  • Hope it's his FIRST time, not last!

  • I like Dylan, he is obviously out of his element, but he is a good sport and holding it together quite well :)

  • DYLAN IS HITTING ON ANA!

  • @javixm is anyone NOT hitting on ana

  • wow, quite the surprise with the replacement today. and he did a great job too.

  • does anyone notice that sometimes Dylan speaks like a valley girl... you know he kinda ends his sentences with an upward inflection... like a question... its most obvious starting 18:30

  • I love this, whoever had this idea should be rewarded, and kudos to Dylan for doing this.

  • Great show !!!!!!!!!!

  • RE: Police shooting of 67 year old grandmother. America needs to ban the right to bare arms, constitutional or not: Whenever guns are involved, inevitably mistakes will be made and lives lost

  • ZOMG! You finally pronounced Cenk's name correctly!

    ha. :-P

  • @AdderallApocalypse lol, and yet Dylan claims he's Chanenk's bbf.

  • Moral of the story:

Drop the shotgun when Police tell you to.

  • Dylan did brilliantly! But I would find it so much easier to follow what he says if he didn't qualify his statements so much, one qualifier is enough.

  • I know what Cenk is doing! Red District FTW. xD

  • @horuseyes

Red District and a huge pile of weed!! That is what you do in Amsterdam =D

  • OOh yeah, the american press is the best in the world...

    Go suck on the BBC.

  • CENK IS IN AMSTERDAM!?!? HOLY SHI-

  • This was awesome!!! I love Dylan!

  • Don't steal Jayar you bastard!!!

  • I kind of feel like Ratigan had trouble saying what he wanted to say. He was very long-winded and awkward.

  • @TripwireBeast

I don´t think he can say what he want... maybe he´s network has put him under certain restrictions?

  • Well done Ratigan, back to MSNBC and have a good long talk with your board, news is changing. I hope this experience sticks.

  • The Dylan Ratigan show is the only news show on mass media TV that has any substantive value.

  • Cenk and Dylan combined! I am Captain Awesome!

  • I really liked the last 5 minutes of this clip. Really productive and progressive, thanks Dylan for wanting to improve the establishment media and get on some new railway tracks since the old track is leading us of the cliff. Getting Bill´O on another track would be harder, since he sticks with his thinking like Cradle to Grave socialism sticks to its people. Keep it up // From Sweden.

  • From what I get of the census takers own side of the story, they told her to get off their private property and she refused = trespassing. She admits to refusing and stood there arguing with them until they pulled a gun.

I don't know where you all live, but some random minimum wage worker at my door with a cheap print-out laminate around their neck is NOT getting my social security number. You're gonna get played a lot in life unless you learn to keep your private info in your fucking wallet.

  • removing your stupid ass comment doesn't make you less stupid. Go ahead, click this @Mellowbeem to see every comment you made.

  • Ratigan is awesome...I'm glad he left CNBC, although I enjoyed his work there too. He has finally been given a forum from which to lay it all out there for the American people. One of the few I trust in TV......

MSNBC should stop the Hardball rerun and move Dylan to the 6PM slot...

  • Ratigan needs to relax a little he's more uber american. HUAGH. TYT has a non news vibe more like people you know telling you stories.

  • Ratigan is the man!

  • @benympls

Ratigan is one of the few people the suits the lists of qualities you need to have to be as good as Cenk. Well, almost :) Cenk's more goofy and he uses epic soundsamples! :)

  • @SinisterSkip

True, i think Cenk is better in this format but Ratigan does a great job at his show & they compliment each other well. What i'd REALLY like to see would be them co-hosting together. That would be fun to watch

  • @benympls

I would love to see Cenk + Ratigan co-host eachother.

I don't know if it works though, you know, both are attention whores, which on itself is TOTALLY FINE because they know their shit and they inform us well, but it's a bit like having 2 captains on the same ship...

Maybe not, I'm happy to give em the benefit of the doubt. Can only know if you try it out!

  • Dylan Ratigan is really easy to listen to. That 45 mins went real quick. Cheers

  • Bullshit that the woman was disoriented. She probably thought that the government was going to take her away. So she tried to pointlessly "defend" herself, and got pwned. If she hadn't gone all crazy with the shotgun, she'd still be alive. Thus the entire situation is her fault. Police WILL kill anyone who threatens their lives.

  • @Tounushi Yea, in ny you can get killed for pulling a bright orange wallet out too quickly.

If you pull a gun on a cop, you're committing suicide by cop.

Kids with realistic toy guns get blown away.

  • @Tounushi Try and follow the actual story instead of the fictional bullshit you just made up in your head. By the census bitches OWN account she REFUSED to get off their private property UNTIL they pulled a gun.

She is a minimum wage summer help loser with NO government ID just a cheap-laminate around her neck made with a printer. If you think you should, or have to give out your personal identity info out to random slobs on the street then you really are as fucking moronic as you sound.

  • @onlywhenprovoked

Pulling a gun on the census worker was a bit extreme, but pulling a gun on THE COPS is moronic.

And try using your brain while reading these comments, BEFORE calling other people stupid.

And how do you know the census worker has no proper govt. ID?

I admit I do not have info for or against, but I would assume that the census worker would have some sort of official documents with her.

And the census worker was doing her job while trying to get their info and not leaving early.

  • @Tounushi Oh look - the village idiot speaks again and assumes wrong, AGAIN.

Read slower this time. They have little pieces of paper printed with ANY printer and they slide it into a clear plastic sleeve with a little neck rope attached to it. Look it up. They aren't full time workers, they aren't full time employees of the state, they are temporary summer help and they get paid the federal minimum wage. I bet you don't even know what you're required to tell the census and what you're not.

  • @onlywhenprovoked

    Thus a fool provoked...

As I said, the armed repulsion of the census worker was extreme, but somewhat understandable.

    Some people are naturally paranoid.

However, since there have been some other instances of attacks against census workers.

But my issue was that they raised arms against the POLICE. There was no rational reason for that. If the officers stated that they were police, then the couple knowingly resisted them.

However, if it was like the raid with the dogs...

  • @Tounushi Pursuant to Art I Sec 2 Clause 3 of the Const, the only information you are empowered to request is the total number of occupants. Name, sex, age, date of birth, race, ethnicity, etc.. have nothing to do with apportioning taxes or determining the number of representatives in the House of Reps. Neither Congress nor the Census have the constitutional authority to make that information request.

Interstate Commerce Commission v. Brimson 5.26.1894

go read a fucking book, you twit.

  • @onlywhenprovoked

    Not my constitution, tollo.

  • @Tounushi Well, in case you didn't figure it out yet, this is the comment section of an American talk show, on an American website, discussing an even that happened to American citizens in America. If you want to discuss the constitution of wherever the fuck you're from, maybe you should go find that conversation. Perhaps you will know a bit more about what you're talking about over there, and won't sound like such a goddamned tool.

  • @onlywhenprovoked

Oh, and I thought that America was the capitol of the world.

You're the ones who export your culture, thus involving the rest of us. And then complain when others care about your affairs.

An outside viewpoint is usually a healthy thing to have.

And though TYT is an american show, YouTube is a global medium.

Let me guess: you're an american "conservative"? Knowledgeable on the const., with a hostile attitude, annoyed against foreigners and an isolationist.

  • @Tounushi HAHA you're battin so many Zeros, I bet you're fucking impotent. Lets Hope anyway. HAHAH. If you really want to know - I score slightly further left on the political spectrum than fucking Gandhi. But I suppose you wouldn't even know where you score. I don't know where you get this "Capitol of the World" bullshit, I didn't invite you here and I didn't mail my culture to your country. Aint my fault you're riding our jocks. I could care less where you're from, you're just fucking stupid.

  • @onlywhenprovoked

Centre-left on economy. Dead center on authoritarian-libertarian scale. Though that test had an american bias.

And your continuous attacks clearly show you have very little to go on here. And indeed we have digressed far from our original topic.

So I propose that we end this discussion, as it only feeds you.

So just cover your ears and go "lalalalalalalala," if you cannot participate in a constructive conversation or accept outside (or differing) viewpoints.

  • @Tounushi That's what I thought. You "care about" our affairs by trash talking an elderly woman that was gunned down in her own home. You're a punk and you fucking know it. Yes, the test has an American bias, it's written by an American. Make some fucking websites if you don't like ours. and If your little ego really needs the last word... then so be it. It's clear you can't even stick to the point of your flawed arguments, never mind back them up. Go on boy, get the last word.

  • @onlywhenprovoked

    The woman had a shotgun.

She pointed said shotgun at the cops.

The cops are trained to respond to lethal threats with lethal force.

Three indisputable facts. As is your point: "an elderly woman was gunned down in her own home." The setting does not change those three previous facts.

Since so many americans have guns (moreover the will to use them), police are taught to take no chances with armed perps.

If you point a gun at a cop, you get pwned. End of discussion.

  • @Tounushi The end of the discussion was back when you trash talked an elderly woman that was gunned down in her home, where the cops should have never been because she was within her legal right to do what she did when the census worker refused to leave but you've already demonstrated you have no idea what laws and rights exist in this country. I don't know or care how you have to bow down and suck the cops cocks in your country. We have rights. Dismissed.
