It was a sad day when i found out it was gone, It was the first game of its type i played, and i loved it. I stopped playing it for a while and when i wanted to start again it was gone. I miss it and all the friends i made while playing. Here is hope that one day it will rise from the ashes.

can't really say why i loved this game so much, maybe it was the atmosphere, or maybe the party system, or maybe it's just exaggerated nostalgia i got from playing this game as a boy, but damn i wish i could play it again.

oh, and can anyone say why i barely see any progress for dawn of iskirra, it's been 5 years and no one can even produce a picture of it?

I miss RoE. I always found myself going back to this game after a month or two of geeking out on another game...and the last time i went back to it, TOTAL SHUTDOWN! I was Sad Panda that day. Any one remember the Golden Goblin? Loved finding that sucker at night in the ocean of the normal greenies outside of KajBlood town....Good times I would love to relive again!

Its true, watchin or should i say re living the game makes me sooo sad i dont no why they ended it.... the best soundtrack ever with thte most chilled out music ever..... I had only started playing for a few months before it went offline but I fell in love with it. The classes,skills,graphics,and storyline made me feel better each day I played. If I was having a bad day I just listened to the soundtrack and felt better. I miss you please come back Rubies. You are not forgotten :)

This game had no past and no future, the past is a totally unknown one, as this game never took off for obviously reasons, failed graphics, failed combat engine, failed on game mecanics and so forth.

The game died, long live Rubies of Eventide, just accept this and move on, as life always continues and death is as much a part... a pivotal party of life.

@TheDogThatMeows failed combat engine? i loved RoE combat engine, failed graphics? i think graphic was great heh. I loved char customization in RoE i could do almost everythink. In now days MMORPG u have silly skill tree, no influence on your char build so simple so stupid..

@TheSZZy Yeah and if I was to take this kind of logic, we'd still play 1990 AD&D games which had characters as monsters like "A" being an ant, "[" being a dungeon entrance.

Games evolve, obviously they must or they simply die. Yes the graphics were way behind their time, yes the combat mechanics was a laugh a barrel, the trade system, the quest system, the entire game was behind and even if you think about the time of conception it was inferior to everything else.

@TheDogThatMeows game was behind or mayby is was just unique ? The game allowed player to customize his char a lot of spells, skills to choice you could modify ur STR,, DEX, INT and so on. About 70 classes. Nowdays games allow us mostly only to get exp and to see what kind of new skill we get each lvl on our skill tree. They are so simple.

There is no such word as behind in games. For example look at Tibia. It doesnt has any sounds, therefore a lot of people likes it ;)

Theres some lack in this game like every game, but the community was perfect. Halbert, the old nemesis was my world, :)

all these games..are shadowed by this immense game, its oh so familiar addicting gameplay.

its great looking armour and combat system.

a game like this needs no introduction its THE MMORPG its the king of kings and i think its rightful place should be brought back.

i would love this game back, and i would love this game to have alot of advertisement.

Dawn of Askira? I think they are pretty much done with Rubies, sadly. My brother (Targrimm, Lothain, Maethorn Odanius from Fireopals) has been really researching it and is looking forward to it. Loved this game on the Halberd server, unfiltered chat, corpse camping and carrying, ninjering unprotected loot and camping zone spawn pointed to get the upper hand on unsuspecting victims lol Good times!
