Sad as it is I continued my sub for this game with 250 day gaps between plays to show support and keep my chars names (bit peeved they allowed F2P players to take any names they want with no reserve for long time subscribers). Anyway, long story short, the community for this game got me hooked in 2006 and I refused to let go. For what little I gave, NCSoft delivered in buckets. The beauty of this MMO is that it can be as complicated as you want it to be. It's up to you!

I play both CoH and CO. Customization, both have great systems, CO has more but its only appreciated by people who want to play a less serious game. Graphics, both have great graphics (this guy is playing on lowest settings) but CoH is attempting realism and CO is attempting a more cartoonish look. Fluidity, both allow you to level up fairly easily and you don't really have to grind. The one up I must give to CoH is that the community is more mature and learning game mechanics is easier.

@Upup2211 The artistic styles are totally different so I really don't see how they can be compared plus this guys isn't playing on full graphical capacity. Yes the customization is more in depth however most of the options are made for joke reasons and would only be appreciated if you wished to play a campier superhero game. I'll admit that the game's fluidity sucked; however getting back in now the fluidity is great and relearning the game is super easy.

this vid = epic fail, And nasgata the quest you have to purchase is free, it's just showing you how to use the store. Later quests may have to be purchased, also underneath the city of heroes selection in customization menu is city of heroes going rogue which has to be purchased if you want it, VIP players get it free.
