Midnight Confessions: Absurd aka Anthropophagus II (1981)

Two things annoy me about Absurd.

The stupid "Little Orphan Annie" knock off brat, God how I wanted him to die.

and

Terrible waste of Michelle Soavi, as a random victim.

Aside from that, it's a decent time killer on a rainy Saturday Afternoon or Evening.

@hitchcockfan81399 - Good comparison. Max Shreck's Nosferatu has always symbolized the ultimate boogie man to me, and Eastman is definitely a great boogie man, here as well as in Anthropophagus.

just for the record ! In Antropophagus George Eastmans Character is NOT Greek. in fact he is german and named Klaus Wortmann (watch the italian original version). Only a few dubbings (including the german one) changed his name into Nikos Karamanlis ! Here in "Rosso Sangue" he IS greek. His character is called Mikos Stenopolis !

Another awesome review. Funny enough, the following year Chuck Norris starred in SILENT RAGE, a film with a very similar plot to this one.

WOW! Hadn't even heard of the film. Have to say Eastmans a lot hotter in

this sequel. Although Anthropophagus still has a place in my heart. Don't you love that Eastman himself secretly writes so many of his scripts?
