dude, this is a cover of a song. a tribute. this doesnt define SS sound. If you listen to some of their songs off of The Cleansing or NTTB albums you will see that they are hard as fuck and actually have skill. The original of this song was also very simple in the playing so you cant blame that on SS.

I'm gonna say this then I'm out: The reason bands like this are looked down on by metalheads is that they take the respectable genre of death metal and water it down to it's most boneheaded form. It strips the music of anything that makes it interesting in favor of TAKATAKA drums and "br00tal" breakdowns which take no talent to play or write. And of course the general public doesnt know the difference so they associate real death metal with this trash, thereby tarnishing death metals reputation.

dude, this is a cover of a song. a tribute. this doesnt define SS sound. If you listen to some of their songs off of The Cleansing or NTTB albums you will see that they are hard as fuck and actually have skill. The original of this song was also very simple in the playing so you cant blame that on SS.
And the bottom line is SS is more DEATHCORE than Death Metal. You're the first person I've ever heard even say that they are Death Metal and ive lisened to them from the start.
