Watch closely as the forklift emerges from its den to check for threats. As a cautious creature it hesitates at first because it sees something- a larger lift, nearly twice its size! The larger lift is busy snacking away on a shipping pallet and proves itself to be no threat, so the smaller forklift fully emerges to search for a meal for itself. Due to the nature of its extreme environment, it will most likely be forced to eat what the larger lift left behind.
Look, I know how to use a camera....first thing I do is put my fingers in front of the lens so you can see even better then with the crappy resolution alone!
Why do foreigners try to operate machinery that they dont know shit about? Get trained by someone that knows what the fuck they are doing and speak English.
And yet even when lifting a fork out of a hole the telehandler driver does not lower his stabilizing legs in case he drops through. 6 points of contact is better than 4.
I was at that place when it happened. It's exactly what dartho19 said before, a leak in the sewer system in combination with the rain made an empty hole of about 4m3 under the asphalt. The red lifter is a Manitou by the way.
Yep, one Hyster forklift I used to work with weight in at over 11, 000lbs, and could pick up over 9,000lbs. So, even at half weight capacity, you're looking at about 16,000lbs. Any road not up to snuff probably will crumble under the weight. Especially if the tires are hard and don't contain air like regular tires. A void under a road surely couldn't take that much weight, and would certainly collapse like shown in the video. When you're using a forklift, it may not seem heavy, but it is.
This happened in front of my eyes here in my city in italy. I was Before a truck, there was a tight turn. But The truck tractor collapsed under the road :D the brocken tubes of the sewer sistem...and rain, simply made an empty space under the asphalt.

Why the hell do all the newbies do that with their cellphone!-i.e. point the camera away from the action and put their damn fingers over the lens?
