Most old games are better then new ones. If you want to find out how to make Red Faction work go onto a forum and ask around. Google "Red Faction vista problem" and you will probably find a tutorial on how to make it work. Red Faction is a very awesome game and is still a good game to play

Yes it is. But you cannot destroy the environment with a rail driver. You can only destroy is with a rocket launcher and sometimes a grenade

Yeah, Rail Drivers are so gay, they're the only damn weapon you use...

I remember several occasions where, in LAN play, i'd "noon-duel" someone with rail drivers through several floors and walls. You'd always see someone saying "I had you! I pressed the damn trigger!!"

It was fun using that IR scope, trying to pigeonhole a little red silhouette out of nowhere.

Man the rail gun here isn't as bad as the rail gun in PD (perfect dark) now thats a annoying gun accurate tracks and is mean as hell the rail gun here in story mode was a sweet weapon if you knew how to use it and plus it was accurat but in multi player mode it loses accuracy for a good reason but I still know how to use it heh heh heh

actually in RF1 the rail drivers are one hit kills all the time. me and my friend experimented and found out that a shot to the foot with it in RF2 while devastating is not fatal, unlike RF1. but maby I'm wrong and I got it backwards. probably not.

Sure the railgun is a shoddy avatar weapon but your gameplay is also a bit like you're having a seizure while holding the controller. Not saying you suck but with more practice the railer might not be as aggravating as you think it is at this point in time.
