StarTropics is more like an alternate Zelda and I enjoy this game more than Kid Icarus. Why doesn't StarTropics get a reboot?

@frozenkiller7: Not really. I grew up playing this, yes, but as a kid I could still tell a good game from a bad one. Example, Sonic Spinball. Nostalgic? Hell yes. Good game? No. Startropics is still good and as addictive as ever. Zoda's revenge too and i didn't grow up playing that.

Maybe they liked the concept of Zelda and decided to reuse some minor elements to make this game play like one of their best games ever made. I don't blame them. The game was meant to be a Zelda clone. It was made to be the Zelda for the Western world.

Also the puzzles were supposed to be tough. It wouldn't be a puzzle if they told you about that secret cave.

And you can tell the secret holes in the wall, there are bubbles in the water where they are.

The controls are stiff, I agree there, but the clips you showed of the enemies being hard... You ran into the enemies. That part of the game is easy.

Also, you seem to be focusing on the minor differences. Yes, it had a story...but so did Zelda, just not as fleshed out.

Remember the sword, rafts, and ladders. It's all the same with a different paint.

What about all the enemies that were the same. The ropes, octarocks, that fish shoots fire, the bats...etc I think you get the picture. :)

This game is not a zelda clone. Just because the first screen resembles the same system (It was made by the same development team) does not make it a clone. Remember the yo-yo's in zelda? Remember the Sub-Marines? Remember the extensive story? Remember Jumping? I could go on but you should start to get the picture....

The game isn't that hard either, any decent gamer can play this.
