  • Virgil Fox was a master, to know from the heart J.S. Bach and then play the master of all organs the Wanamaker organ, What can I say!

  • Go Virgil! :D

I just can't think of any words to describe the greatest organist of our time.

    ~Cindy! :)

  • I am so very sorry I never got to meet this master of the organ. I have enjoyed his performances on YouTube as well as on Record, Cassette and Compact Disc.

  • "And in a second it is going to settle who is the greatest composer in the world" There is some good speculation that Bach did not write the Toccata and Fugue in d minor...

  • Great to see and hear The Master of the pipe organ. I am a huge fan of the legendary Virgil Fox.

  • @silverstartrucker Hi Mr. Trucker, I must agree! I am a fan of our Virgil Fox, too.

He said" If You´ll come across - I´ll come across", that could be a very honest credo for all church organists.

    All the best.

  • Virgil was, in fact, my 5th cousin. In fact, I have his childhood piano. He died when I was about 5, and I never met him. Very nice to see videos like this, in addition to the stories and recordings I grew up with.

  • his palms are really low!

  • I keep thinking Virgil surely must be back by now, and might soon be age 13 again, and we'll hear him play the organ forever again.

  • Thanks for bringing this back; I hope it stays up!

  • show off!!!
