Im 40 yrs old now, I was born with a clef palate,,,all I can say to all those people out there who tease or stare at us because of our birth defect, these people are VERY shallow..& if anyone stares at me for a long period of time I say to them. I KNOW I AM BEAUTIFUL, ARE YOU JEALOUS>>>HEHHEH..good on you mate for making this vid, love your attitude...take care
I was was born with the birth defect the cleft lip and palate so I know how it is to see people laugh at me. For a long time I was really sad, but now I don't care so much for others opinions. I just live my life without worries, I'm studying to be a nurse (and good one, I hope). So I must say this: Don't Let anyone treat you like you were stupid, because we are not!.
A wonderful guy once told me "Don't let anybody tell you that you aren't beautiful, because honey, you ARE!" I was at a low point in my life, and I have never forgotten what he said. I just wanted to share that with you, because you are BEAUTIFUL! Don't let anybody ever make you feel differently about yourself.
No opinion should matter, but your own. On the days that you allow people to get to you, you're going to be upset. Psychiatrists and other emotional health nuts really go for affirmation--go look in the mirror every morning and tell yourself you are good looking, and it will change your mood a little.
It's the same with targeting someone you work with, and asking them if they feel alright all day long, because they look sick. At the end of the day, most of them will go home sick.
I also was born with a cleft lip and know exactly what you are talking about. Sometimes i feel really alone. but to know there is someone else out there going through the same things really brightens my day and makes me feel just a little bit better. Thank you
You are cute. Anyways I have a son that was born with the birth defect the cleft lip and palate so I know how it is to see and watch people look and laugh at him when he was first born. I know where your coming from.
