The reason that Thaksin was ousted was because he actually brought true reform to a poor majority which pissed off the real ruling powers who want a poor majority so they can feed their own coffers. Thats why Thailand has had the most dictators and army coops, its all about money, power and manipulation.

@DarkKalahari yes, and ive heard it from a taxi driver. He used to have this house that he bought when Thaksin was in power. The houses were build for poor people. And you have to apply in order to buy. They check your reference. But now, he had to sell becasue he could no longer pay the monthlys. It used to be about 1200 baht. Now he is forced to pay 3000 something. And a lot of the others are forced to move. Because they can not afford. The houses are now sold to more richer poeple
