  • you know thats bad for your gun

  • can i use diesel for my car in the rifle??

  • @snelkraker1 yes, it should work, but like other comments say, it would be better to put the oil (or fuel) in the skirt of the pellet. this was almost 3 years ago and i did not know that this could mess up my gun. i have cleaned it and it still works great and it is still very accurate, but there was a lot of sludge build-up when i took it appart.

  • Your flirting with injury dick knob. your placing the gun under excessive pressures outside designed parameters.

  • ha ha moving the barrel like that does nothing, you are slightly retarded

  • i use heavy oil on my 22. it makes allot of smoke

  • this video should be called "how to achieve ZERO accuracy and fuck up your air rifle"

  • @SonyU10i this video should be called "How to pay good money for a air rifle only to have a child fuck it up".

  • Oh dear - you do know this is dangerous what you have shown. Fingers crossed that no one looses their sight or fingers. Have you got insurance, better think about it now!!!

  • be careful , but nice result hey?

  • you cunt !

  • This is actually good to know. I probably would not do it just for fun, but in a situation where you needed game (survivalist), or even had varmints a bit out of range, this might be a solution as opposed to buying another airgun. Of course, real cartridge weapons are the big solution, but if for some reason you cannot get one, being able to get the max out of an air rifle may be next best.

  • If you're going to fuck up your air rifle you should do it the right way!

When u cock it, and it snaps in place... moving ur barrel up and down like that does NOT move the pistol in the chamber, you're only moving the barrel up and down lol.

The only times the pistol is moving, is during the process of cocking it "when you feel the tension of the spring" and when you shoot it. So if you're gonna do it right, you have to keep it from locking back and work with the tension or else it's not movin

  • Nicely made video! To all the complainers posting. The title is NOT "proper care and use of a air rifle" It is "How to diesel an air rifle" Get over it.

  • Well explained mate.

Whether it's right or wrong or screws up the gun you did a good job of presenting it.

  • Bad advice not good for the air rifle

  • I've heard that corn oil works the best - yes, the kind used for cooking.

  • i did this to a BAM B4 .22 underlever I DIDNT CARE ABOUT...used wd40 one quick shot was enough to explode a small green pumpkin at about 35 yards and the combustion made it carbine!! (re-cocked itself from the back pressure)...the next shot was weaker and weaker and weaker..after 5 shots the gun was pretty much ruined..i replaced the leather seal, the shear, and spring i replaced from a mountain bike suspension fork..works like new again..but never again will i do this to any air gun.

  • Great way to fuck up your rifle!

  • im just sayin but if u do that alot you will mess up ur componets in ur airgun and it make the accury way worse

  • most guns already diesel on their own because of the factory lube. It's actually pretty cool at night because a huge flash comes out of the muzzle. Do not do this intentionally you will wreck your gun!

  • lol i don't need to diesel it xD i already get a super sonic crack when i shoot

  • typical fucking american, Screwing up a (half) decent air gun. Yes lets try and make my spring powered air rifle sound like a real gun, that wont do any damage at all.

  • @herpo14292 Typical american eh? What planet are you from? Maybe the kid is a different race, color, or from another country...what difference does it make...the kid is still a dumb ass! NOTE: YOU ONLY HAVE TO BREAK THE BARREL ONCE TO ACHIEVE THAT 1000FPS STUPID! Maybe your parents will buy another $300 air rifle because Im willing to bet my Gamo air gun that you didnt purchase that gun with your allowance! Way to ruin a nice airgun dummy!

  • This is a sure way of destroying your spring air rifle. The piston seal will melt from the detonation you are making aka dieseling and weakens the main spring. When cocking a spring break rifle, you need to hold the barrel with your hand until you return it to upright position. Without this safeties...you will loose one or more digits from your finger or crack your lips or head when it bear trap on you. Air guns are not toys and minors should be supervised by a knowledgeable adult.

  • Kid, I don't know if you are aware of it yet, but what you are doing is a WHOLE LOT of bad for so many reasons.

    1) You are destroying your air rifle's seals, if not the air rifle itself completely.

    2) You sticking your fingers in that barrel hinge is likely to get your fingers caught in the barrel hinge "beartrap," which could potentially sever one of your fingers! And, what's worse is that you making this gun diesel actually makes that MORE likely to happen due to the damage you are doing.

  • @PinkOld i know you made that comment a year ago, but what is the beartrap?

  • @thebowlzack

Beartrap is a slang term for a very dangerous phenomenon in which a break barrel airgun can have the barrel slam closed when the trigger is accidentally touched or if the barrel slips out of its detent when opened.

If you were to have your finger in their when that happened, VERY bad things could get done to it, including a broken finger or even SEVERED finger.

    Believe me, it HAS happened.

Deliberately dieseling an airgun is irresponsible and dangerous.

  • @PinkOld is this a rare thing that just has its chances upped by dieseling it, or is it pretty common? thanks for the reply btw

  • @thebowlzack

It all depends on the individual airgun.

Some airguns have a mechanism built into them that prevents it, as does my Gamo CFX.

Others, especially the cheap Chinese clones, do not, and you can have this happen every time you cock them without being careful.

Dieseling your airgun can certainly increase the likelihood of it happening and (not sure, but who knows) might damage the anti-beartrap mechanism in guns with it.

Dieseling damages the gun in other ways, too.

  • @PinkOld would you be one to know if the crosman phantom (chinese) that i plan on getting has this built in butchers knife?

  • @PinkOld and you said your gun has something to prevent that...would putting on the safety prevent it as well?

  • i just got the crosman G1 extreme and i took it in my backyard at about 7am and shot it for the first time and it was sooooo loud. it echoed off of all the houses and woke my neighbor. too much factory lube i guess :D lol

  • It works more if you put the drops right behind the pellets, not in the ity bity hole.

  • stupid, must not know any better.

  • its bad to diesel your air rifle. also no accuracy, they say one to two drops of per 1-2thousand shots. The gun was also already cocked so you moving it back and forth did nothing.

  • get an RWS 460 magnum. its a death cannon of an air rifle

  • and when u do this u also ruin your gun :D

  • diesel would still work better it burns faster than that oil

  • buddy thats a great way to break you gun i know its fun

  • just buy a good gun

  • whats the point of moving the barrel up and down 20 times? are you fucking retarded by any chance? the piston isn't moving when you do that unless you had the trigger pulled atthe same time, which you didn't. Fucking dumbass

  • can u use wd 40

  • bad to use alot in the air gun

  • thats the best combo but use one drop on the skirt. good demo. id love to see someone cronograph a dieseling 1000fps springer with pba

  • dude ive done this in the past DONT DO IT... it weakens your spring soooo much by puting back pressure on it THIS KID IS FUCKING RETARTED!!!

  • долбоеб!

  • you know what for the same price of that airgun you can buy a real .22 that makes a loud noise and dose allot more damage it looks cool and all but its a waste of money when the gun finally breaks from all of that "dieseling" like here where i live for 150 you can get a nice semi auto .22 with a banana clip

  • take into consideration gun laws, use in residential areas and the age of this kid, give your head a shake not everyone can own a .22

  • i own a Remington model 597 .22 lr with a 30 round clip. i live in the woods away from neighborhoods. i was 15 when i made this vid. i am now 16. i go deer hunting with my R700 .243. So this was (like u said) meant for using in places where you cant shoot a normal gun. i can however, but i was just showing those people who couldnt

  • cant you just use diesel fuel??

  • probably, but the oil that i used has a lower flash point. so it ignites easier.

  • @ahart5530 ha ha ha its stupit, all the video

  • @thelegend22 ya you can but it burns too how ( too much power) youll end up blowing your piston

  • @thelegend22 hot**

  • dude you're going to ruin gun... all you need is a dab of oil in the skirt of the loaded pellet.. not 3-4 drops youre using WAY too much oil...and on top of adding too much youre putting it right inside the piston WHICH IS FUCKIGN STUPID. are you TRYING to blow up your spring housing?... goddamn stupid people, you're a darwin award just waiting to happen rofl

  • LOL Why did you move the barrel back and forth?? The piston wasn't moving! It was already set, it wouldn' t move!

  • @spiceyvideo haha i thought the exact same thing mate. fair enough he didnt know but still kinda funny lol

  • @spiceyvideo

Hahaha I never thought of that :-)

  • Two great ways to kill your gun if you use 'em too long. PBA is too light and will wreck your spring and dieseling eventually ruins your spring seal.

Once or twice maybe I don't see any issues

  • Not a good idea as has been said it will damage you weapon and if you use a cheap Daisy ect better to buy a gun with a higher FPS rating then do this

  • you will just fuck your rifle up in the long run

  • You are going to break the mainspring or damage the piston and compression chamber.

The Diesel effect will caused the mainspring to wear down faster and damage to seal on the piston.

why you ask? Its sample. if you have any knowledge with Diesel engine it's the same effect. There is to much force being applied to the mainspring, piston and compression chamber.

You pumping it won't help unless you don't cock it.

Once it cocked the piston is locked.

  • You have to just add one drop of oil into pellet skirt. Works everytime. I use A Gamo Big Cat. You will most likely mess up your gun if you keep doing it the way you're doing.

  • also works good with a mixture of 95% isopropyl alcohol (kind from wal-mart) to 5% motor oil.

  • Either way, this can't be good for your gun can it?

  • @Johnson1281

I concurr, I use a little drop of of napier pellet lube inside the skirt and I get a fairly consistent ~850ft/sec on .22 instead of my usual 610ft/sec on my CFX. That stuff is very good because it's fairly thick and won't run off the skirt, but it still diesels nicely and consistently. Accuracy-wise, it's not awesome, as the speeds varies, but lethal to 100ft. I live in the UK, so I have to keep the rifle tuned to below 12ft-lbs energy; that's why I only get 610ft/sec normally.
