Everyone deserves to go to hell! We are not worthy of Heaven. But because GOD's Amazing grace, and the doorway of Jesus Christ, we are given the chance to accept him as our saviour, and spend eternity in Heaven. I pray that you all find Christ, so you don't have to spend eternity in Hell.

God is a spirit, an immaterial conscious being. All things in the universe consists of matter and/or energy, so if God isn't matter, is energy by definition. Energy is the capacity to do work, is eternal, omnipresent, wasn't created and can't be destroyed, can create matter, was the only thing present before the BB, and the energy required to make the universe must had been powerful. All these match Biblical descriptions of God. Therefore is plausible God exists.

I see interpretations as a way for followers to not follow but to convince themselvs and / or others that they're a member. Let me clear up the sentiments of a Catholic who thinks atheists have a shot at heaven. Try substituting "self-emptying and self-giving love" wherever you read that you must live through Jesus to get to heaven. He loves us and lives in us whether we know/accept it or not. If an atheist lives and loves as Christ taught us to live, then I don't believe they'll be turned away at the gates of heaven.

As far as my experience goes (not saying every one is like this, just the ones I have dealt with), when a person claims to be an agnostic it means, condescending idiot that cant make up his own mind, at least believers take a position and run with it.

If the core principles were the only relevant parts, you wouldn't need more than 1 or 2 pages. I see interpretations as a way for followers to not follow but to convince themselvs and / or others that they're a member. The original versions of the books are what counts and if you don't follow those versions, you're not an honest member and imply god is changing which to be honest, implies it's got a very human-like mind which is why man wrote the books.

Let me clear up the sentiments of a Catholic who thinks atheists have a shot at heaven. Try substituting "self-emptying and self-giving love" wherever you read that you must live through Jesus to get to heaven. He loves us and lives in us whether we know/accept it or not. If an atheist lives and loves as Christ taught us to live, then I don't believe they'll be turned away at the gates of heaven.
Consciously or not, an atheist can still live "through Jesus." Peace be with you!

why believe in a fairy tale, if he is real, he has left no reason for anyone to believe, the bible is not a book written by him, the stories are insane and constantly contradict themselves, why would a creator ask this of someone he loves? its cruel and demented.

Insults rather than a civil argument, how surprising is that...
I'm not attacking islam, if I wanted to do that I'd jump on the bandwagon and mention suicide bombings, terrorists and streaks of violence. I'm simply criticising a fact that even muslim scholars don't deny.
I don't need to check for faults with my religion because I don't have any, simply because I don't believe in fairy tales.

What you fail to realize is that you're in absolutely no position to criticize Islam. Now that you reject a Creator, you lost all credibility, and you're neither going to gain Islam nor harm it. I personally don't care what you say, because many have tried and failed, till this day, but Islam will never go down. Islam is the light, whether you like it or not, believe it or not!

The reason for the diference of opinions on atheist going to heaven is real simple- There are different type of christians
True believers. Philosophical believers(people who just adopt christianity as a philosophy). Cultural christians(Those raised christian with out an inward conversion) and immature christians(those who don't know what they really believe). True believers know atheist are on there way to hell. The others are more likely to think that it's possible because their faith is shaky

The thing thats funny is how atheist think this is a matter of opinion. There is either a hell or it's not. Your opinion doesn't matter. There is a hell and no survey can change that. Hell doesn;t have to meet your standards.You will find out after you die. And when you get there your opinion on whether or not you deserve to go will change. You will be right where you belong.

Thats true, we still suffer the consequences when we violate the commandments but violating them does not cause us to lose our salvation. Jesus fulfilled the commandments and no believers will ever have to answer for the sins that Jesus took upon himself. WE are under God's grace, no longer subject to the penalty of sin. WE, being those chosen by the Father and given to the Son, not atheists.

Typical cop-out. The bible is a sexist, racist, and xenophobic book. If it was called anything else it would instantly be deemed evil. In the bible, Yahweh killed over 3 million people, but Satan only killed ten! Pretty amazing eh? Some loving god, its no wonder religions inspire so much violence! And lets not forget the God ordained, mass murder and rape of the Midianites, whose only crime was being "racially inferior" to Gods people, sounds kinda like Hitler am i right?
