Sorry you got sick, I know that wasn't fun with a newborn to take care of... thank god for hubby : ) Is your husband allergic to dairy too? My step-son was allergic to regular formula and needed the soy and it ended up he has a long list of allergies including dairy. Are you completely dried up? They say if you pump it will make you produce more milk, perhaps if you got yourself making it milk again you could avoid the dog food smell : )
my hubby was allergic to everything when he was in infant..luckily he grew out of it! It turns out Derek is allergic to the soy also. So we had to get a special hypoallergenic formula. Which is very expensive but it helps. Yup all dried up :( Pumping wasnt working either :( but things are looking up now :)
yes we do and have applied but they dont fully cover hypoallergenic formula. You have to go through insurance and Medicare first and then they'll only cover about half if that. We got it taken care of now. Our insurance is paying for it
are you breast feeding ? because that could be reason why hes only pooping once a day . My baby is 3 months now and she poops every 2-3 days because im breast feeding. and the doctor told me its normal .
I was breast feeding. He actually pooped great while I was doing that but when I switched to formula his little body had to adjust to it and it it stopped him up a little.
well im going to have to go on pregtastic to hear the birth story because you gave me a good picture of what happened and it sounds like it wasent sucha great experiance but you have your little man now and i know your super happy . also constipation is ruff but you are stong you will make it thro just keep your head up your doing great
I really dont think he is constipated,,,,My little girl is 2months almost and she has been pooping once a day for awhile now, I askrd the doctor and he sais thats perfectly normal.
Don't worry about the pooping. He's not constipated if he only poops once a day. My son did that too, and I was worried, but the home nurse told us that the "four diapers a day" number is for the first week. If they go any less than once a day, THEN get worried. :)
You had a good doctor. At least he did not give you a cesarean! Good for you! He is a beautiful baby!
I don't understand why someone would break your waters without letting you know first and lying about it. That is crazy!

Do you qualify for wic, My friends baby has to have this formula and she gets it free through wic because of her income..

Yeah it was pretty harsh but he is doing great now :) Did you listen it my birth story on pregtastic? What did you think?
