  • Just Beautiful, ive been looking for these shrimps and theres no way i can find them. where can i buy some? thank you

  • Shrimps are clever buggers. They hide when you're doing water changes and they know when food's getting delivered lol!

  • Are they hard to keep? I saw a few rcs at the pet store (so expensive!) that I think would look really nice in my tank. Do you do anything special to keep them happy or just water changes and food?

  • about the ketapang do you reccomend using it?

  • lol, must be those pregnancy cravings ;-)

  • We had 3 pregnant CRS shrimps and 2 gave birth to +/- 40 total 2 weeks ago, but now they are all dead :( We have no idea how that's possible, because we checked PH and everything else we could imagine... Can anybody tell me how to keep the baby shrimps alive?

  • Nice shrimps

  • fuck ocean. humans are better.

  • my CRS breed fine in tap water, change 30% every 3 days with conditioner.

  • If u can breed CRS in tap water then yr tap water PH has to be very low

In my country PH is 7.5-8.00 difficult to keep CRS alive add to it KH, GH

    which r relatively high

  • Its Prime of Seachem I use it too. Just yesterday I got 10 CRS grade A from a person in our forum he gave me RO 20 lts too. They seem to be fine I use 80% RO and 20 tap water conditioned with prime.

  • Do u use tap water or reverse osmosis ? Coz breeding CRS in tap water is very difficult .

  • I used tap water which was declorinated for at least a week using a Seachem liquid (cant remember its name now)

  • @lifeextract I think the Seachem product you are using is Prime. It is one of the best selling declors we sell at the LFS I work at.

  • @Anamika2505

CRS are easy to breed, in tap water (declorinated of course) or RO water, just provide the right enviroment for them and they will readily breed.

  • you have to buy Tap water conditioner to remove chlorine and you have to recycle the water about 2weeks or a month before use the water for shrimp, make sure you put air stone in when you recycle your water.

  • did the fry survive? i seen some of the shrimplets, but after a week or two, i never saw them again. they are so sensitive!

  • Yes they did! I had to sell them off when they were bigger as my tank could not fit all of them! At one point I think I must have had over 50+ shrimplets!!

  • nice! how often do u change the water? do u put any chemicals in the water like something to remove chlorine? is there a type of flourite in your tank? what kind? i really hope my shrimplets survive this time...

  • I change 50% water at least once in two weeks with dechlorinated water using Seachem products which are great. Good luck with your CRS!

  • Excellent close up shot. I'd love to know what camera did this?

  • Thanks! I used my good old Canon S1 plus a closeup 10x+4x filters (ie 40x) for this movie :)

  • hey i was wondering, depending on how far away you live. would you be interested in trying to sell some shrimp

  • that was very difficult to film which?

  • Yes, it was rather difficult at such high magnification the depth of field is very shallow and therefore in and out of focus happens a lot.

  • dude, ketapang leaves is for betas, right?..and it's only called ketapang in Indonesia.

  • is that th indian almond leaf

  • @bonex2005jr Yes, Ketapang / Catappa / or Indian Almond Leaves (all the same) are used for tea particularly in Indonesia.
