This movie is my favorite movie of all time. I'm fifteen (I know, "what a hipster he is!"), but seriously, I've watched this movie uncountable times, and I never get tired of it. The plot, the humor, the characters, the voice overs, the animation, and the music is all phenomenal! Few movies like this are ever going to come again. It makes sense that Dream Works would make this.

Did you know, initially Dreamworks really did want Miguel and Tulio to be gays, but of course the idea quickly disappeared because of obvious reasons? :) I'm glad though that Elton John's song is about love and that it suits the movie plot so well! I think that Tulio & Miguel create such a lovely and adorable couple, lovers or friends, it doesn't matter. <3

Do you know what's weird? Elton John made another film for Disney and it was considered perfection yet this film got mixed reviews not because it was bad but because they thought it was a Disney rip off. I think Eldorado was slightly better than most REAL Disney films.

I always wen't in a trance when I heard this, I actually was a bit afraid of the real Elton John compared to the animated one because it was so powerful it was bit scary :3. Now I'm 17 years old and every time I hear this song I remember the magical world of eldorado and the beautiful voice of Elton John and the warm feeling of being a 7 year old, not worrying a thing in the world :)

This song is so emotional... When I try to interpret it given the story of Road To El Dorado and Miguel & Tulio - especially when you factor in the fact that originally they were meant to be lovers - it is so extremely heartbreaking and beautiful. I love this song and movie so much!
