I myself would use the actual beer, if it would make it taste anything like beer brats, count me in.

Root beer has always made me vomit for some reason.

I can absolutely not stand the taste of it, I'd rather eat dirt.

I'm going to try this recipe sometime though!

I think Beer would be good, but you'd need to find the right beer. I think Brown ale, or porter. If you used strips or steak rather that chicken I think a regular beer or lager would be good-----I'll need to try beer myself.
