  • your home looks beautiful! or wherever your sat! very good tutorial by the way! Lovely hair! :) xx

  • I just LOVE your necklace in this video! May I ask where you bought it?

  • I sell Lia Sophia jewelry. This is from a past Red Carpet Collection and has since been retired. I have earrings that match, but some of the stones have fallen out, waaah.

  • Hi Dianne. I love this set. I did it last week and it turned out great. I broke the rule and set it wet (after drying my hair) and used a spray-on, leave in conditioner. Didn't have the shrinkage of wet hair/velcro roller problem (yippee). Thanks again - you're great!

  • Woo hoo, so glad to hear it! How long did you get to enjoy it before you washed it again?

  • My hair has a mind of it's own :-) so by the next morning the look was gone, but it looked great for the evening. The leave in conditioner makes it softer and less likely to tangle on the velcro. I've learned to not brush it out - just use your hands to fluff it and a brush to smooth any wild hairs. And hairspray of course.

  • My hair does too. I'll have to try the leave in conditioner thing, I love touchable hair. So true about the hair fluffing and hairspray, I do that too. Sometimes, at the end of the night, I'll just put it in a twisted bun right spot on the top of my hair and sleep that way and get a two day hair fantasy ponytail all wavy for Day 2 before washing again.

  • The twisted bun does work as an easy styling method. I used to be "forced" to wear a bun when I was waitressing decades ago so I'd stopped wearing them in protest :-). Thanks for reminding me how great my hair looked when I took it down (plus it's fun to shake it out as you never know what you'll get!).

  • Very helpful video

  • Your smile is radiant - very beautiful.

  • Thank you, jamiegreenland. You just made me smile and radiate again!

  • what a beautiful beautiful face - never mind the hair

  • What a lovely compliment, thank you.

  • do you need to have wet hair to do this?

  • NO! It HAS to be dry to do this or it will get stuck. Once it's rolled, you can mist it, which I recommend. I let them sit for as long as possible, usually one or two hours.

  • thank you!

  • what spray do you use?

  • I'm using Jingles now, a big yellow can I get from my salon.

  • I'm new at this although I'm not that young and I'm curious: why are the side rollers perpendicular to the floor? Should they always be that way? I have tried the rollers a few times and I always had the side ones parallel to the floor. Is perp better? I've been wearing ponytails since my first child was born so five years is long past the time I should have been trying new things. Help!

  • Thanks for your inquiry, I am relatively new to this too believe it or not. I try the rollers all ways to see the kind of result. You can totally experiment to get a different look. Uh, as for your first child's age, how long has it been? :)

  • wow nice job you look great hon

    I really appreciate your feedback.

    Dianne

  • Oh your very welcome hon, Has a matter of fact I have been looking for someone like yourself because I beleive you and I are in the same age group and there are not many or any videos out there to show make up tipe and hair tip for the age group that we are. • I just loooooove the big happy glowing excited smile that you give at the end.....when you're all happy with the results of the curlers and how you're hair has turned out. It's so much fun to see you just grin from ear to ear with joy. You're like a real live Barbie :)

  • Thank you, DivaliciousCandy82. If only I had Barbie's long legs....and tiny waist. I appreciate your feedback.

  • I love the way you look sooooo graceful no matter what.....even in curlers. I bet you'd carry off a raggedy dress with elan and grace. :)

  • You are the most graceful person Ive ever seen, especially taking out your curlers!!!

  • (curtsy) I'm humbled at your generosity, MrHollick.

  • TANGOOO.

    love your hair :D

  • That has to be the best head of big, blonde, and beautiful hair I have ever seen. I'm really jealous.

  • Wow, thanks rickyfierce! As for being jealous over it? Honey, green ain't ya coluh. You got some thangs we all love too! Like your Jack Blackness, that's right, I saw your I hate video. I was almost to bust a gut, YOU! Watch my THINGS I LOVE and make me a video response this week ok? I love YOU!

  • lol... even fighting with the velcros, as always you look STUNNING... my compliments for a job well done. franni

  • wow, curlers are soo hot ;)

  • OH MY GOSH!! Talk about gorgeous hair, you've got a nice head of it as well... it wouldn't matter if I left curlers in my hair for weeks, there is no way that I could ever achieve those results! I forgot, are there any layers going on in your hair??

  • Thanks FloridaSweety! I have layers all over, I have to line up the bottom of the rollers to make sure I grab them all. That's one of the fun things about the velcro rollers--they just grab it all.

  • i love the way youve done this video xx

  • Thank you, LuccaLuv!
