  • Is only as sophisticated as the accompanying music...it gives me a headache to watch....F

  • indians rock!!!

  • This is a dry track but what happen if the track is wet and where the fume of motor goes, how do you protect all electronic component.

  • this is just working model, that how we can use the technology. regarding protection of track there is no problem because all the track is isolated from elecrical suppy if the water falls on it then there is no problem, and for protecation of electronic component defenetly we will provide proper cover. due to time limitation we were not able to do this, but it is not big deal to do it. regarding motor ventilation there is enoguh space to dissipate the motor heat.

  • Hi in the top you have a coil that levitates the train(above the coil is some magnet or only some metal?), in the sides you have smal wheels, and in the bottom, what do you have?Coils that make the train moves?

If you can help i would be very grateful.

  • hi.... on the top you have coil that is linear indcution motor with unity powerfactor. which creats all the thrust for the train movement, in the both direction. above the coils are the contectors which are use to control the high power cuurent in our case it was 15A at 110V AC. there are 3 contector, one for magnetic lift and two for direction change. at the bottom u can see two electromagnets which are use to life the train. and bottom wheels are for supporting the train

  • Hi, your maglev looks great, very advanced. How many volts power the linear induction motor? Does it really levitate ? If so, what gap sensors did you use? Did you use op-amps, and what is the air gap?

Please feel free to check out my model maglev train video, it is not so advanced but works well. I used infrared sensors for the gap sensors, and LM324 op-amps.

  • specification for maglev: (basically it was designed for US)

    V :110V AC , I = 9.3 A , PowerFactor = 1 (unity) , P = 1 KW

and yes it was really leviated.... total weight of moving body was...35 Kg... when there was no levitation then u can not move it with ur finger.....but when it leviates,,,just put ur one finger on body and it will moves easily..(that was really great experience to see it without any friction).regarding levitation process, we have used DC electromganets with microcontroller

  • Great job! Could you share some of the ideas and technical data how you did it? It would help a lot of other people, including me :)

  • hope u got answer..

  • @npoison2452 Yes! Thank you!
