  • haha, you have a cool hose sis.

  • wow,, nihon go jyouuuuuuuzuu da ne!! hatsuon toka ne, kanpeki to omotta!! doko kara kita no? atashi, ima nihon de benkyou shiteiru!

  • benkyou shimasu * i think thats wat u meant

  • no, benkyou shiteiru is benkyou shiteimasu.. it means currently studying... its not that different benkyou shimasu tho.. ur not Japanase right?

  • no im not japanese im technically Vietnamese and i just like benkyou shimasu better then benkyou shiteimasu i just kind of that it didnt sound right because it didnt have the masu thing.

  • yup2, it doesnt have any masu there, but actually thats what we say when talking in a daily conversation, usually with friends.. "masu" sometimes is too formal..

  • i c but i get the feeling that even in normal conversation that somethin instead of masu is used idk its cause of the verb rule in japanese is y i thought somethin should have been there

  • Uh..Shiteiru is progressive, it means the action has already begun and is now continuing, and in daily conversations, the masu form is usually not used. It is more natural to use short forms. And..benkyou shiteimasu is NOT benkyou shimasu. Another example: Tabeiru = I am eating, where as taberu = I will eat/I do eat. Btw, I am also Vietnamese studying Japanese, so...good luck and try not to correct someone who is a native speaker :P

  • Weird that is seems no one has replied to this. Just as a correction, 'Tabeiru' is NG, (can back that up by a native speaker). Tabeteiru (Tabeteru) is progressive, and from there Tabeteimasu.

  • You're right, I made a mistake, probably wasn't thinking at the time. Cheers.

  • lol HANA-MIZU!

    you got a runny nose?

You have a cute host sis.

  • ahahaha feeling!

  • i want to be an exchange student but i dont go to a school that does that or i dont know how much it costs and tell me a good compony to use for the exchange

  • it got recommended to me by my friend but she just found it on the net. it costed me around 5000 AUD. but that was because the organisation paid for my tuition and i didnt have to pay my host family.

  • I'm going to Japan as an exchange student in march. I'm curious, your japanese sounds really good, did you know any japanese before you went?

  • yeah i studied japanese during high school for 4 years. so when i graduated i applied for a 5 month academic axchange program.

  • @fakepink can you sub it? and how old ish she?
