This child can sing her BUTT off and yet she's not getting the exposure and recognition she deserves. I think it's do to black artist being marketed as needing to have crossover appeal before anything else. Also she's a chunky girl, in the industry for a black artist you either have to be one or the other. If you're a thick girl they're gonna throw you automatically to urban crowd only and Neo soul therefore your exposure is scarce.

Personally, I love both B and Jaz. I never knew why people felt it necessarry to compare the two. Both are talented sistas doing big things. And frm what I've read in interviews, they admire and respect each other. Why do we ALWAYS have to bring B into discussion when it comes to OTHER female singers? Beyonce shouldn't even been in your thought process when discussing Jaz. Two totally different styles. They BOTH sound HOT live. And they both give good shows, Comparisons stop there....

Yeah I'm sorry.....B is great.....but having a higher range does not equate to having a better voice...its how you use the voice that you DO have. i personally prefer a woman that can hit some bass notes......lol! And Jazmine's runs and improv licks make B sound like an amateur LETS KEEP IT REAL.....when Jaz sings I hear Soul.....B is pop for the most part and Soul will always triumph in my book!
