lol i bet more people die from falling off a cliff in a bus, falling in the water of the atlantic, buss blows up,a humpback whale rapes them, then they explode for unknown reasons
Don't be so paranoid. 61 deaths? That is nothing. If you want to avoid dying, stop driving everywhere in a car. I typically walk or take the bus. Most of those are good hygiene tips. However, I will not cook my hamburgers to 160 degrees. That ruins them. They are often accidentally cooked to 160, I want them to come out medium, but I am not good at telling when that is.
THIS CAN KILL BACTERIA TO HEAT?

E-coli outbreaks are more common in the US than in other countries because so few Mexicans wash their hands before preparing or serving food.

this is kinda stupid. Why avoid e. coli, if its the most prevalent type of bacteria in the intestinal flora?
people need to get more informed. Besides, 61 deaths a year in a 300 million persons country is nothing.
Why are so many americans excessively paranaoid? Its as if you guys actually get some kind of pleasure out of being worried all the time

Relax ... it was a school project. You had to choose from a selection of subject matters... I got Ecoli. It's tongue and cheek .... :-)

tell that to the 61 families of those that died because of this. The reason why it is not a huge problem is because of awareness like this, duh.
