Hey wr dud this in my art class then used the paper to make books it was really cool. And to do it at it's kind of hard because it's thicker paper with sone type if weird plastic in it ad if I can remember I thing the water gel stuff is a mixture including corn starch.
@mahico2000 i don't know about online tutorials but there are lot of artists doing it here in turkey . it expands your creativity by 1000% i can assure you that =)
this is islamik turkish art, each ebru is only one sample ,its symbolise endless of creation of ALLAH,back ground musik is TASAVVUF (MYSTIC ISLAM) music, and there are 360 note style for each part of the circle of onessless ,its open the mind, its help to consentrate and clear the mind,
Yapanin eline koluna saglik. Gerçekten çok guzel bi eser çikardi arkadas bu guzel sanattan. Keske bende bilseydim, veya yakinimda biri bana gosterseydi...
It is called "Ebru Sanati" in Turkish, "Ebru" means marble like pattern and "Sanat" means art.
The black water thing (actually is not black, it is opaque but the container seems to be black) is called "kitre" and obtained by mixing water with some asparagus secretion. It pushes the dye to surface and prevents them to mix.
This is amazing. There's no way I'd be able to do this. As far as the music goes, I found it relaxing. It's the type of music I listen to while writing.
To find out more google 'ebru santai' You'll see images of art work and below it is a link entitled 'Ebru Santai'. Click on the link. In the lower right hand corner you'll see 'English/Turkce'. Click on 'English' to translate it. One of the nifty things you learn from the site is how to pronounce Ebru (/abroo/). ;)
U people who dont know anything about the music or beautiful art just one word for U guys U r brainless!!! pordon for My english. And respect the what people doing here or fuck of U dont have to put commend !!
