This was most likely recorded later when the episode was reworked since Jerry Nelson, who was unavailable during initial taping dates, contributes an uncredited performance as Floyd, using the same bass voice that he uses during the "Mr. Bassman" number in the Mummenschanz episode.

Lips-Trumpet was a later addition and only occasionally appeared with the Mayhem

Rowlf the Dog was also an occasional sit in musician.

The one and only thing I find deplorable about the Muppets is that they didn't invent a strong guitarist character who comes level with Rowlf, Zoot, Animal and the lot. Janice never had those funny, cranky (whatever) performances like the others. Considering the zillions of guitarists who love the Muppets, that's a pity.
