  • one major flaw... you cant have the carts on top take off that fast or stop that fast with passengers in it.... I guess you could have a longer top track to detatch the cart above sooner to allow it to slow down over a long period. but that doesnt really solve the taking off problem

  • i love smart people so much!

  • Why am I watching this? :P:

  • 2:41 to the end was hilarious

  • incredibly ridiculous - nice thinking though

  • I saw Jacque Fresco explain this in a video once, I'm not sure how old this video is, but I think he might have invented it first. Although in his one, the first and last carriage take the place of something on top. Which is probably better because you don't need stairs, although you do need to walk from one end of the train to the other in both instances.

  • @mr3dguy sorry, my mistake, in this one the top carriage could move to be in the same place.

  • I like this idea , the best thing is at least in that country they foster ideas. Dont see any American students coming out with some great.

  • Well this idea should have been applied on the "Unstopable" movie :).

    Great idea

  • what happens if there's too many ppl to get off the train n there's like no place for them on the "cabin"

  • @MaxHBoss if one cabin is not enough they will park 2 cabins, station gives information to next station for match up the situation. What i think , if it is electric train how it will get electric from the top, or they have to run with diesel.

  • Thats gotta be so difficult to safely engineer

  • @ipodeater4000

I think once you reach the train you can go down stair, and before you have to off the train, you go up stair and reach that compartment again

  • Ching chang chong wong dong ling kong hoppadong!

  • @alguerrero lmfao!!!!!

  • @deviliciousangel235 CHANKS AWOT! ;)

  • I didnt know taiwanese people where made of lego...

  • What happens if a fat person gets stuck inbetween the car and boarding station....

  • Ah...vai dormir ô!

  • What happens if everybody on the train wants to alight? Can the transfer compartment even have that much people on it?

  • Comment removed

  • epic fail.

its going to have to be stopped sooner or later for maintenance lol

  • omg wtf???

  • Co za asy

  • @di3ayet Co za kutas

  • lol whats the problem with stopping, lazy motherfuckers they want to be american, whats next? rear sensors lol

  • @spartan1081990 It's not a matter of laziness, but of time and efficiency. If the train doesn't stop, it saves a lot of time and energy.

  • @spartan1081990 The amount of energy needed to get that massive train up to speed is immense. in a place like china that heavily relies on trains this would significantly reduce costs for operating the train

  • I don't get how you guys think EVERYTHING is copied in china

  • @joyjay1523

    Y not?

  • Just don't forget the brakes this time stupid Japanese people

  • Won't work.

  • That's a nice idea

  • Sing tyao la moy. I cant speak japenese

  • Think of it like this: imagine two trains running next to each other. Train A keeps a constant speed. Train B stops at stations, then speeds up next to a different train A. When they are next to each other at the same speed, passengers who just got on can move to A, until the stop before the one the wish to depart, where they can move from A to B. Then the connecting doors lock, stopping people going from A to B. B stops, get off. It's faster, basically.

  • it's like the movie Unstoppable!!

  • china shit. where they copy this from?

  • Cool invention. BUT......Has anybody asked themselves If the Train NEVER stops.... WHY THE F#CK DOES IT LOOK LIKE PEOPLE CAN BOARD THE BOTTOM PART..... It even has windows and shit.... I is intended to be board by people at the inaguration that will live there forever... ????

  • @pocho31 That you can board the bottom part is the whole point of the train ...

  • Does the reverb voice sound just as stupid in Chinese?

  • It's just like a detachable chairlift.

Except, every year thousands of people would die in Chinese train incidents, but the Chinese Government would ensure nobody read about it.

  • It's just like a detachable chairlift.

  • wow reddit iz a kewl site lol evrii1 shud check it outt

  • Reddit?

That site gave me a virus.

  • @iWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW did you not read the thread about this? STOP IT. NOW. No more of that derp im from reddit derp. its fucking stupid. and i dont have to follow rediqutte since were here so FUCK YOU ASSHOLE YOURE EVERYTHING THAT WENT WRONG WITH THAT SITE.

  • Won't you get split into 2 when you stand in between the upper and lower deck during arrival?

  • Forget this idea. All you need is a big net on the train, and a big trebuchet on the platform - job done.

  • Very creative but... won't the poles disturb the cars?

  • Why not just leave the last wagon on the station by loosening it from the train and get one to the front, so that the front wagon accelerates with its own motor to the driving speed and the rest of the train catches it on the way to the next station?

  • yo dawg i herd u like trains

  • @ksrm2 So we installed this train on your train so you can ride trains while you ride trains

  • @AngelDouche66 hahahaha

  • @ksrm2 So we put trains on your trains so you can train while you train?

  • Hmm ... interesting concept, but totally user unfriendly towards elderly people. Can you imagine the g-force on people when the train picks up the transfer cabin. Its like an aircraft taking off from a carrier - not good for the faint hearted.

  • It is not from Taiwan. she said that the train is from Beijing to Guangzhou. It is from China.

  • Apparently the japenese got so lazy they dont even feel like stopping a 150mph train just to pick up people.

  • @extremegamemaster

it's in china dumbass not japan

  • haha...lovable.....

    我比較喜歡那個China 3D bus現在在北京先試吧...什麼時候可以看到

  • Sorry, not to be troll, but this is really dumb, I can see so many problems with this

  • This my concept. I conceived this idea more than 30 years ago. Unfortunately, I never pursued or documented its conception properly. I want to state for the record that it is possible that I shared this verbally with someone over these past 3 decades, and it has resulted in this animation. I have no proof yet, but intend to pursue proving that this is my intellectual property. Please do not associate my comments with my affiliates here within my YouTube channel. Sincerely, Glen S. • looks dangerous

  • Meh, Toyota already makes cars that don't stop.

  • @vimmy23 hahahaha

  • @vimmy23

What an awful comment. Awfully good.

  • @vimmy23 how , they pullout the brakes hahahahahhahhahahahhahahhahahahahahaha

  • How to board a train that doesn't stop

Do a shootout until the cops come.

  • 但是如果坐周轉車廂不就永遠只能到下一站了嗎

  • @julian101383 That is correct.. How do people go more than 1 stop? it seems the trails replaces everytime.

  • all the gforces that the people would get going from a complete stop to the speed of any train would be a big problem

  • It's actually a really good idea... The only real danger can be easily monitored by installing sensors to detect any possible flaw with the car waiting to be picked up.. I.e. If they use some kind of hook or latching catch to pickup the new car they can monitor it while it's sitting at the station... The reliability of train brakes nowadays makes the issue of releasing the car being dropped off a non issue.. There's 5 fail-safe systems they can implement on the drop off system that I can think

  • I wonder if any of these people have ever been on a train/subway.

So now everybody boards and deboards from the rear car. That back car is going to be very crowded. And what's the point of the forward cars if by the time you reach them, through the huge crowd, you have to make your way back to the back (through the huge crowd) to deboard.

  • trolll

  • What I observe in this demonstration, is that there are TWO carriage options: one, the main train compartments, for long distance travelers and the other on top, for shorter distance travel

  • @eruanion i doubt it. It appears the top and bottom are connected.. so if passengers go to top side.. they can easily walk down when they are aboard and via

  • How about a serial configuration

  • but, would i have to sit in the wagon-thingy in the station for a long time if i wanted to go more than one station??

  • I'd love to know a bit more about how they do the release. But other than that, what can go wrong? It's just maths.

  • I love this video, it shows Human ingenuity!

  • looks pretty dangerous i bet the prototypes if made will cause some damage lol

  • @vipwest says the engineer

  • @vipwest Also, what happens if the rails jam by accident? Will the offloading car slam into the front car? Imagine how messy that would be. Ugh. Cops often say train wrecks are some of the most gory, shocking accidents they've ever been called to. NO cop wants to get called to a train accident.

  • strange idea, in big cities hundreds of people enter and leave a train at each station. Not 2.

    This wont work...

  • if they could make this work, it would be awesome!!! :D

  • I dnt really see the advantagee

    Can someone explain to me?

  • @scarydead Advantages are many: Decelerating, accelerating and idling at stations incur longer journey times than if the train was shooting at high speed from start to end. And with quicker journeys, trains can run more frequently. Shorter times will may attract more customers.

But there are disadvantages too. This video shows only a single boarding point for passengers, so they would have to move through the train to find a seat. The costs of building such a system may be prohibitive.

  • @scarydead

the train dont stop.never.so it goes faster from A to B

  • @scarydead fuel ;)

  • This is excellent! But it looks little dangerous for me at first look, I can imagine serious accidents if something goes wrong....

  • Are the "tracks" on the top of the moving train flexible? What about gaps in the track while the train is going around curves?

  • Comment removed

  • @Homeguard3 haha, you are "fail"... back to school

  • That is an amazing idea! This would even allow more stops along the way without conflict. However I imagine this could actually limit the boarding capacity per stop so high traffic stations would not benefit much from this system. Even still you could cut the down time in half using this at most stations and the ability to add more stations could cut crowds in each drastically . Although I am sure they can figure something out as the concept improves.. Really is an amazing idea

  • Conceptually, that's really, really elegant. I can imagine the implementation having lots of potential problems, but I suppose that's why we have engineers. Very cool.

  • Jacque Fresco thought of this 36 years ago. See minute 6:55 in part 3 of his interview with Larry King in 1974

  • Comment removed

  • too much trouble and cost for a little less time during travels. not to mention potential dangers.

  • NO good for wheelchair bound people... also I could imagine everyone scrambling for the carriage that has the "exchange carriage on top. Passengers would be reluctant to move to either end of the train. Maybe the train could stop at major stations to allow people to get out "normally", and just use this method at "lesser" stations. None-the-less, very interesting and clever idea.

  • Wow, that's cool.

  • @Nat4Brendan ditto

  • if you want to stay on for longer than one stop, would you have to constantly be moving forward to the next car until you want to get off?

  • @trandoductin You would just move to the train below, the upper car is for Entry/Exit from main train, I imaging a ramp/stair case connects the two trains

  • quite smart :)

  • it could be usefull just when the person who take this train on the second flour want to arrive to the next stop.

  • Isn't this prone to accidents? what if someone is still trying to get on in rush hour?

  • pretty similar to what Jacque Fresco suggested about 40 years ago on Larry King!!! :P

  • Ching CHea WIng wey Sen san jing jang kweng ching! That's right! I said it!

  • chin chan choue chi chen chau qua cho chi chi ao wa

well, I think it will be harder to learn it than I thought

  • Awesome. This would work wonders for a New York Local/Express type hybrid system. Every train could be both local AND express.

  • I guess it would really have to be cost efficient to be productive - Does a 1 minute stop really cost as much as a whole new rail system/infrastructure?

  • I wonder if a common automobile can be designed to work with such a train. Also, on overhead catenary powered railroads, the wire needs to be taken into account.

  • Good Idea but very impractical. A more practical Solution would be to have a passanger car on the track at the the station for people to get on. then the train comes in stops for a second to hookup to the car and at the same time drop off its end car.

  • @guyod1

then everyone getting off would have to fill only the cars that arrive at their stop (whichever car is last in line at that stop), which would require a whole new set of instructions for passengers, costing a lot more in lost time and confusion and limiting where passengers can sit... would probably only be efficient with less than three or four passenger cars

  • @guyod1 it wont work first of all ask yourself how many passengers can ride in the captual at once, then ask yourself if im at station A how do i get to station G, then ask youself once im in the capsual how do i climb down into the main part of the train, you cant once your in the capsual you dont get out until the next station, so if you at station A you have to get off at station B, then get in another capsual at B to get to station C eventually ending up at station G etc.

    your idea v.good

  • ching chang chong hurry up and buy

  • what if you want to go more than one stop? can you go down into the actual train car?

  • This guy must not have seen all those videos where they try to land a plane on top of a car.

  • I take my hat off to this idea.

This is the sort of brilliance that bearing witness to endows you with genuine pride in humanity.

  • A good idea is a good idea, who cares if it is hard or difficult, as long as it is not impossible, highly impractical or prohibitively expensive , IT IS A GREAT IDEA.

Are you guys serious? "It is hard to do it"? We were able to send a man to the moon and several drones to Mars, and you are chickening out because it is "Hard"? Puhlease. This world wasn't invented by men with good ideas, this world was invented with men with BALLS who put everything on the table to see their ideas work.

  • awesome..

  • its very hard to design such thing , have to sync both trailer and the train speed .and the train length and the upper loader must be very long , the train must slow down when loading if not it will became a disaster

  • @sprinters1981 Yeah, the upper loader would be long, but it wouldn't necessarily be difficult to sync the two. It WOULD be difficult if you were using a speed sensor each on the train and the loader, then fed the data into the vehicles' computers, but instead (or in addition) you could have a mechanical or electromagnetic device that causes drag until one catches up with the other.

  • that IS peng yu-lun, jianjun only designed the 3D video

  • ATTENTION!!! The inventor should be Jianjun Chen, from Hubei province of mainland China, as shown in the video!!! It should be "An incredible idea from Jianjun Chen in Hubei"!!! Where does "Peng Yu-lun in Taiwan" come from? Weird... I wish people who watched this video understand Chinese or see my comment.

Hi sheepthief, I think you'd better change your introduction of this video before more and more people who know Chinese watch it :)

  • @yyj123 and I thought this is HS's original idea! I know he wrote a similar proposal in Korea.

  • @yyj123 who cares. the chinese rip everything off; no such thing as intellectual property.

  • @yyj123 there is at least one person who already thought of this kind of idea: Jacque Fresco, who thought of it in the 70s, if not earlier.

  • @yyj123 CHINA STRONG! CHINA STRONGEST OF THE STRONG!!

  • @omgGYGYGY In Soviet Russia, China is YOU!

  • They should spend their money on a PRT system instead.

  • great idea,

  • WHAT GAME IS THIS

  • What if I want to travel further than just one stop? This makes the whole thing ineffective.

  • @h3onza Why? If you are going further than one stop you would exit the smaller, detachable section and enter the main body of the train, then you would get back into a different detachable section at the end of your trip.

  • @umbradweller ... so if an elder person going further than one stop, and if the person misses to get back into a different detachable section before his stop comes he may land in the other station which is far apart rite?

  • @h3onza Then use the bottom train that doesn't sto-... Never mind.

  • Or just automate all transportation into small cubicles that attach and detach to other cubicles. All can be owned. This can be used for both private and commercial transportation. No parking problems or accidents. No need for all the extra frameworks for accidents. Making everything lighter and more efficient. Inclimate weather wouldn't be a problem either. And the track or routing system could be made of recyclable material. You program in destinations and it automates you there. MPE

  • the idea is quite good~!

  • Also the track for the mini-train will be very long, if the speed of train is high.

  • The idea is very dangerous...

It someone standing in the door,

    should the train stop?

  • now how do you get off?? o.o

  • ther are way to many problems with this idea ppl might fall of the top ( by getting pushed) is one and what if the top thing dosent stop they will fall

great idea but needs some more thot into the saftey part....

  • What if someone will delay at train-shuttle door before it will start detachIng? ^)

  • пиздейц блять надо же такую хуйню придумать молодейц косоглазый заебато сработал

  • Yeah and what happens when someone gets stuck outside on the boarding platform or is trying to get off the boarding platform..

  • The idea is really good. But I think only very few people can get in to this train from one station.

  • The carriage can contain about 200 people That's enough for long D train

  • @chow0105

    That's great....

  • Damn, why didn't I think of this?

  • So you would have to go fro mthe top car to the main train and back when you wanted to get off? Is stopping a train for 30 seconds to transfer passengers really so horrible?

  • Stopping the vehicle and accelerating again uses more power than simply keep constant movement, this procedure can save a huge amount of energy. Basic physics, greets.

  • @BoredChick u have no idea~!

  • Good video!

I do however think that my Waverail products solves the same conundrum in a more readily manageable way.

  • Did anyone think that maybe the train itself would slow down to mitigate any gravitational forces???

  • they can get this to work but its seems very dangerous.

  • Everything we have today is dangerous, like cars, or just normal trains, but we still use them. Im sure any potential problems would be ironed out during testing before anything like this is open to the public.

  • TaiWan is not China

  • This is the dumbest idea I have ever encountered. It is extremely dangerous.

  • @DragonOne1 agree, it will be the biggest shit fight, lets say the capsual holds 30 people , what if 54 people want to get off at a station and the hatch is shut in order for the capsual to be dropped off that means 24 people are still in the lower part of the train heading to the next stop, its a joke and it not going to work,

  • This will be impossible to execute. Won't work. Bottom line.

  • dsching dschaaa dschooo ju ji lu lao roflmao

  • BRILLIANT 5 stars, whoever thought of this is a true genius.

  • Not brilliant.

When you're in the external car.. and you're sliding backwards whilst the train keeps going.. the G's from smacking into place are gonna hurt. bad.

  • The top car would "coast" along the rails on top of the train, at the same time breaking till it is stopped over the back of the train. This is obviously just a POC model and not ment to be taken as to how it would literally work.

  • oww rlly nice idea :) but for somthing like tht it would hav to be for a long trip

  • this shouldn't be taiwan since it uses simplified chinese and talks about beijing and guangzhou

  • yeah it is Taiwan. And Taiwa is the one who uses Simplified Chinese. China uses lots of different chinese. And in the video they are saying that this idea can sell well in Bejing and GuanZhou because of its conveniency.

  • taiwan uses traditional...

  • How will they transfer passengers from the boarding car to the main train? How can they ensure that they will be able to do it fast enough?

  • looking at the size, im thinking those are diff floors - so people'll go downstairs or smth. and they shud have alotta time to get off cuz the top cart is attached to the main train until the next stop, and you can see the cart "loaded" from the last stop is unloaded at the current stop. and if you keep doing this, then there'll be a cart waiting at each stop n each cart'll be moved to the next stop. people'll just get on and off the cart depending on when they're getting off.
