  • @gasfreetech4 now dream theatre :3

  • @citizen773 Obvious troll is obvious...

  • Saw this guy preform with Dream Theater a few weeks ago. He did an amazing solo. Also saw him do a clinic years ago with El Negro. Awsome drummers.

  • neal peart is better

  • Fuck me.

  • I think his snare head's just really loose.

  • @DrDavidColmenar i don't think so ...it sounds pretty tight(not meaning good...though it doesn't sound bad either) xD

  • That's not ducktape. It's a gel...as previously mentioned lol

  • its in his fingers not his wrists

  • I don't wanna "enter my text here"

  • wow I would like to see how the bell of the ride looks like when hit

  • Fast drummer is fast

  • Mike Mangini is a GOD.

  • lol the snare and cymbals shocked me O,o

    WTF

  • ok now thats fast

  • Who is this drummer?

  • @jaybone23 me... aka jesus

  • @jaybone23 Mike Manginni. He's the new Dream Theater drummer

  • his drums sound so good. Then i see he has duck tape on the snare batter head. I was like wtf.

  • Yes you1re right, but what is wtf

  • wtf is what the fuck.

  • Okay Bro I see it now, I`m Old school Product Material Made in The early 1960`s Thanks for the info.

  • Not a problem. Awesome upload.

  • It's not duct tape, it's Moongel..Much, much better, check it out;)

  • @WUDmark Hum, guess it is. The first time i watched it, i could have swore it was tape lol. I use moon gels, they are the best thing to have lol.

  • @bradzdestroyer .. thats not ducktape ..it is a moon gel

  • @bradzdestroyer the duck tape is to muffle over tones. drummers sometimes put it on stuff they want to sound dry or pingy or if they want a shorter sustain on somthing

  • @bradzdestroyer you should be glad! :)

  • @bradzdestroyer its moongel?

  • @bradzdestroyer It's for putting mics on...

  • @bradzdestroyer Most drummers use ducktape to damp annoying hi-tones from set.

  • I'd really love to see a slow motion video about biliards. Mainly the breakshots and how the cues bend

  • o.O!

That really makes think about my cymbals.

I don't want them to break, so I guess I'm just

gonna hit them more gently. :S

  • amazing!!!

  • thats amazing to see what happens with the kit when you play it. it fascinated me!

  • That`s amazing !!!

  • Does anyone know who the drummer is?

  • mike maningi, Steve Vais Drummer

  • damn dude he's doing that in traditional too!

  • you do know its faster

  • @lovesdrumsalot Theres no difference playing traditional and match grip buddy rich used to play this fast when he was arround

  • this really clarifies how cymbols can vary in quality - all how it ripples etc. i'm a drummer so i knew what sounded good but could never get my head round exactly why. I imagined it as a rigid piece of metal oscilating but.... yeah... i get it now!

    thanks!!!

  • wow ive seen the cymbals do that before, but the snare HOLY JESUS CHRIST ON A BIKE.

  • hahaha

  • you nailed it

  • Make maningi is your father? -.-'

  • NO, Just Kidding Dude

  • thats time warp and my dad grew up with that guy

  • that guy is my dad

  • What about bass drums?

  • thats a good question

  • WOW

  • fuckin oh

  • Insane. I can't believe how much the cymbal warps.

  • thats awsome
