i remember this game. this dudes landing at 4:40 was a very near fail. i promise you his plane was very close to just smashing on the runway with how hard he hit it. XD
The N64 version pretty fun! But the SNES version looks quit odd compared to the N64 version. The one thing that I enjoy about the N64 version is the cool and relaxing music, plus there are noticeable demensions to it. You can see the distance you're flying, etc.

no cuz they don't sell those anymore. and this looks too good to be on a tv. is it znes? that's the emulator I use. but what site did you get the rom ffrom?
You know, he could still own his orginial SNES console? And it IS possible to record gameplay off your TV with let's say, your DVD and get it up on the computer.
KingKombat95: It's not just you, I've noticed it with other people's videos too. I hope they get it figured out soon, because the high quality made a big difference in most cases. And yes, I do recommend this game. Just don't expect a lot of action, it's more of a slow-paced, relaxing game (except for the final level).
1337Vivian: It's not really that type of game. :) Although the last level (helicopter) does have a lot of action. You shoot at mounted guns on the ground, and they shoot back.
This game was hard.

That was great to watch. I've only ever played the N64 sequel (which I loved), I'd love to have a go on the original now I've seen it!

Don't mean to be rude or a troll, but... vgfreak is so naive.
Anyway, this must've taken a while and a lot of thinking to program.

I have this game for the N64 and I don't like it.
WillysLover17 2 years ago
this game is pseudo-3d, but it still looks convincing. almost like a psx game without 3d objects and it came out in 1990

He uses a TV tuner, not an emulator. (As you can see Jeff said that twice)
Everyone knows they don't sell NES's anymore. He just kept his nice so he could still play it. :D

Wow, this game seems to have really good graphics for its time! When did it come out?
Nidnacron 2 years ago
Nidnacron: It came out in August 1991 in the U.S. According to Wikipedia, it first came out in Japan in 1990.

Wow, not bad. The game looks fun!

Pilotwings looks fun!
nachorock9999 2 years ago
nachorock9999: It is. It also has skydiving, which wasn't in level 3. Some bonus levels include penguin diving and a flying bird-man.

This game looks awesome. They should port this to the DS... Or at least make it a Virtual Console game.
I've had PilotWings 64 every since I had my N64... That game was great.

Wow, I've never heard of this game, but it's got really good graphics for an SNES game! Well done!
ldsdude61 3 years ago
It was actually a launch title too, which makes it all the more impressive.
jvgsjeff 3 years ago
Wasn't Super Mario World the launch title?
cali727 3 years ago
I mean, not THE launch title but A launch title.
cali727 3 years ago
cali727: Super Mario World was the pack-in, so yeah it was a launch title too. But F-Zero and Pilotwings were also available at launch.
jvgsjeff 3 years ago
This game looks like it really lets the SNES's capabilities shine. Good job.
