Someone bumps the hood ornament on his Mercedes and a small child re-adjusts it back into place. As a consumer - I am not sure I want a flimsy head ornament on my vehicle. Doesn't make me wanna run out and buy one. Additionally, but anyone who pays top dollar for a Mercedes is not going to just sit idle as someone hits their car - potentially damaging their front end. And yes - the music clip in the end is eerie... Is the driver a priest?

Hood ornaments have always been able to collapse like that to prevent them from snapping off or injuring someone who might fall onto the hood of the car. Most of the time, they're held in place by a small metal cord with spring tension on it to keep it pulled upright. Of course, it can be shifted out of place, which is what happens here.
