Why do the idiots with the camera insist on positioning the camera right next to the exhaust.. Do you know anyone who puts there ear inside the pipes and says "rev it up man." I don't. lol. If someone does can I come and watch them do it? How about some exhaust clips at a normal human being position.. like far away from the exhaust tips. sounds much better on camera for a comparison.

Sounds good. I tend to like the deeper tones of near-straight-piped V8's. I can't stand whiny V6 "performance" mufflers. And in the case of the ZR1, every rev is backed by 630+ horses, so it's no lie.

Its actually quite quiet and docile at low revs its not until you go above 4000 rpms where you'll hear the sound.

So when your cruising down the highway 60 mph in 5th or 6th gear its just as quiet as the stock exhaust system.

@korn14420 Not even close. The Z06 is a twitchy, knife edged race car. The ZR-1 is much softer and more forgiving. Not to mention the Z06 has a 7.0 liter motor while the ZR-1 is a 6.2. It's a much different engine and chassis.

sounds nice but those valves are there to keep exhaust backpressure. engine efficiency needs exhaust backpressure. installing that exhaust is just for sound and looks. how come you think they didnt mention anything about hp gain?? because there is none. when the smallest restriction to allow the engines ability to breath is the throttle plate why would it matter to get better flowing exhaust. think about the law of hydraulics. zr1 is still an amazing car tho. go hennessey for more power.

ummm you dont know what you are talking about. you NEED exhaust back pressure for engine efficiency. too little pressure and you lose hp to much pressure and well you lose hp. General mortors performance division made there exhaust right. if you want a loud sound which everybody likes to hear then buy the exhaust tips. think about a water hose if you have a kink in the water hose will a bigger tip make it flow better???? zr1 smallest restriction is the throttle body. that is smaller than exhaust

where can i look at this. i must see to believe. because i am a GM certified technician in 7out of 9 areas. all GM vehicles smallest restriction to flow is the throttle plate. you want more hp you got to make the smallest restriction bigger first before exhaust makes a difference.

I Call BS on the 70 MPH Drone, my 06 GTO W/M6 does 1700RPM at 70. That Tach was showing 2100. That car in 6th gear at 2100 would be doing 85mph+
