  • You live and you learn, Cannondale is a sponsor of my LBS team and has a long relationship with the shop. More than likely I would not get screwed under the same circumstances. I love the new Pinarello's but I read a review where I guy had a similar problem as I had with my SCOTT Addict and the communication lines w/ the Euro company was tough. In the end you get stuck with a really pretty 7-10k bike that can not be ridden.

I've learned my lesson, check the warranty b/f you drop the cash.

  • I'm strictly Cannondale USA!

  • @rexoner2000 Gotcha. Shame about your troubles with the frame. I rode a Carbon Six 3 and 5 a couple weeks ago and they seemed solid. Aesthetically, though I must say that their logos are really big on the frame because of their long name. It kinda turns me off. It's big enough on the down tube and then it's on the seat post too. But of course aesthetics are highly subjective. There are great frames underneath the paint.

  • I bought a Scott CR1Pro 2006. Used it until end of 2007. No issues with the frame. I bought a Scott CR! SL 2006 which I rode until I sold in March 2009. No problems with the frame. I am currently ridinga a Scott Addict R4 2009. I have not had any problems so far. Scott are great road bikes.

  • Scott carbon is disposable junk, the frames(2009'10) will mysteriously break with in 5 months or so Scott USA run by a European entity will not honor warranties on their products.

Scott USA is a corrupt company

consumers please trust me on this

  • @rexoner2000 Proof?

  • @fodera6 only proof I can provide is my own experience. my frame broke not due to a crash but they would not make good on it. I had to replace my R4 with a09 CR1 which was my only option based on choices given by Scott EUR.They should have given me a new frame. I've cooled off on this matter some what. I wish I still had my Addict, instead of this CR1. But hey they were my favorite company. Now I will never by anything from them ever again. Thats all. The Addict was not my 1st Scott.

  • Very nice bike for a sportiv! But no bike and I mean no bike for 2010 will come close to the performance and aesthetics of the cannondale super six hi - mod but on price this bike might have the winning edge without sacrificing that much performance. Keen to find out what the price point of this bike will be in the Uk
