One thing I can say is that I have PS3 version and think it would be cool if you were able to drive ecto-1 at least one time.

I play the PC ver. Like.. I always go for pc or ps3 ver for a game if they have the ver for those consoles instead of psp or nds.

great game for the DS I just bought .. But you can explain how to make go faster to make the Ecto-1? I can not figure out how to make ... and then I can not capture the ghosts. :)

Here's my strategy: Set all GhostBusters to Hold. Set one of them at the chanting podium to guard Ray while he's chanting, and another one to guard Egon while he's neutrilizing. Be sure that Ray and Egon are doing this at the same time. This way, Peter and Winston will attack any ghosts that try to attack whoever they're guarding. If the guarding GBs are down, then you'll just have to get lucky. Hope that helps.

I have the PSP version. It's ok, but it's basically a half-assed port of the PS2 version.

It's amazing that developers haven't noticed some of Top Licensed games and copy the design: Mickey Mouse Castle of Illusion, Astro Boy GBA, Bleach DS, Buckt O'hare, Duck Tales, Ronald McDonald in Treasureland, and heck even Ghostbusters for Sega Genesis

most games coming from a movie dont usally turn out that well but thiis one does. Ghostbusters 1 is still one of my fav halloween movies. juding by how good this one is theres bound to be ghostbusters 2 the video game coming out

You can't. The phone ringing is just a background sound to make it look more realistic in the real Ghostbusters series. Or probably, it shows a caller just called and a new mission awaits.

Great review. OK, the million dollar question for me is this: Is this the Ghostbusters sandbox game I wanted the console version to be? I know the game is not GTA China Town Wars. I just want to know if I can play the game busting ghost for as long as I want. I can get the story off the bigger game, I just want to bust ghost all day long on my DS. Is this the case?

Absolutely. The non-story missions filter in constantly, and are useful for earning money for upgrades. They can be enjoyable in small doses, but are quite short and quickly become repetitive.

Nice, that's what I wanted to hear. I got the game now..... another question. When you are busting Ghost and you have your P.K.E. running, dose the sound on the P.K.E. go out on your version too. It dose that on mine. I have the first P.K.E. right now, not the upgrade.

I didn't use the PKE meter much (because I wanted to travel around the maps to collect slime anyway), but I don't remember having that issue.

My Girl also has a copy of the game, her version dose the same thing. When you get a chance, try it and see. Just in case I didn't explain it right before. It's the very first version of the P.K.E. meter you get. If you turn it on you will start to hear that annoying sound it makes. You start to walk around looking for ghost, then, BAM! you are hit by a ghost. The P.K.E. meter's sound is out (which is not a bad thing lol) To get the sound back, you have to press the RB button again.
