@gus2wwe What I've heard is that, if they choose to wear these things, so be it, but they cannot say that's what slowed them down and caused them to lose the race. If it was at the runner/racer's discretion so be it, but can't say that's what hurt their time. Normally in a short race like this you want to take off all jewelry to stay streamlined and help your time (especially at the Olympics). Usually in distance, it doesn't matter as much to your time.

it just seems like your bunched up, so try extending your lead leg over the hurdle and snapping it down and then keep your trail leg parallel to the hurdle so you can get it over and into the sprint position as fast as you can.

what are your hurdle times? do you run the 300m or 400m hurdle

It's easy to spot Robles among the hurdlers, because he is taller than the others and when he cross hurdles, his back does not bend down as much as the others. Other people have to bend their back down really low, then straighten their back, bend, then straighten repeatedly.

Another thing is that he can keep his face looking forward, and other hurdlers facing down when they cross hurdles.
