While using max speed, press two direction keys at the same time (left+forward or right+forward), look straight up, and hold the sprint key.

What's that message appearing from 2:33 onward?

That's the "Out of bounds" warning. It says

"Return to combat area of you will be terminated in"

If you stay out of bounds too long you will die.

You just have to try and get "outside" the normal game play area. :)
