HI .. I love your vids...all so awesome.. I have done galaxy nails myself b4 and I do love them. Yours are pretty too. I just wanted to give you a little hint/tip ...while you do the sponging...it is best to dab your sponge in the polish on paper like you did but then dab off the excess polish..(the big glumps of it) onto the paper first a bit b4 applying to nail. Just a little tip...I wanted to share. :)

This is really neat! But my nails are so small that I don't have enough room to put a design like that on them lol. They will not grow and I have tried everything :(......very pretty though :)

Omg I just tried it, and I love it! I also tried different color combos and they were gorgeous! I think the key is to have shimmery and opaque colors work best! Just a pointer haha

I've seen 3 or 4 of these types of tutorials and have yet to see a bad one, yet everyone manages to make them look a little different, and they're all so pretty! Think when I repaint I might try this, only instead of a regular glitter I might try my flaky Secret Treasure polish I hardly ever use.

Ohhh I want nail polish remover asap lol so I can do this.. I just have OPI's Jasper Jade as a base color and over Sephor by OPI Wild About Shimmer (It's a gold shimmer) If I go out this weekend I'm get nail polish remover so i can do this on my nails :D

@tengotweety It is! In my original blog post I used Nebula nail in the title, but since it's more known as a galaxy nail, I just titled it galaxy and tagged it nebula as well. Plus I just wanted to add a little Milky Way info too. :D

With all the drying time considered how long between start and finish, assuming a person has as much skill as you Sokolum? :) Hours and Hours I think (for me) and quite a mess

@gridwars It's pretty fast, around 20 minutes. I let the black base coat dry for a few minutes and then I start to apply all the colours, I don't bother letting the layers dry in between. After the colours are applied I let it sit for 2 minutes, then apply the glitter coat, dry 2 minutes then apply the fast dry topcoat.

I'm in Vancouver as well :) hey I tried this with a midnight plum by avon as the base, the same lilac revlon purple that you used, sally hansen insta dry in presto pink, I didn't add a darker purple as it has the darker base, and I used 'too good for him' sephora by opi for the glitter and china glaze top coat. it is a fun look. I had no sponge so I took a brand new sponge that came with my revlon complexion pressed cream powder lol and chopped it up. Worked the same. It's a sponge as well :)
