These products are produced and stored like this to fulfill pre-need burial contracts. The websites look shoddy because they aren't meant to sell to the public. Yes, the government uses them, but they use them in VA cemeteries for their intended purpose.

They do not put soldiers in coffins that are big enough to hold 5 people.  The caskets they use look like any traditional casket, only its got a flag on top.

@delanogaston You said they were for military. I have seen with MY OWN EYES..they do not use anything like this. And if a coffin is supposed to fit INSIDE of them, then why are they only 6.5 " long? A coffin is 23" deep. These things are 4 FEET!

@delanogaston Please understand that although you've been to military funerals, you haven't seen everything behind the scenes. Some va cemeteries use the plastic liners more than others; some only use them in special circumstances. Most use concrete grave liners. I would suggest visiting vantage vault's website for more information on that particular product. And don't accuse me of trolling, it's impolite.

Let me spell it out for you so you can go back and tell your alien friends.

Most burials require containers to go AROUND the casket to keep the ground from settling. 30 years or so ago, the only outside burial containers available were Concrete or wooden boxes. Because of modern technology, there are now other alternatives to concrete such as fiberglass and polymers (plastic). These are made and shipped all over the US to funeral homes for your loved ones caskets to sit inside.

These aren't coffins.

A burial vault is a sturdy box designed to protect the coffin inside of it. The body is placed within the coffin, which is then placed inside the vault.

The death rate in America is 8.27 per 1,000.

There are roughly 310 million people in the US.

That's 2,563,700 deaths in this country per year.

Could it be stock for a percentage of those deaths? Probably, considering the company that makes them is located in Convington, which is a short drive away from Madison.

50,000 is an understatement? Really? Do you know how much space one million vaults would take up.? The Google Earth picture shows it's about the size of a medium sized parking lot. Get real! It's more like 5000. 5 thousand!

@Ian7570 Not 5,000.. they have 2 locations. One at there plant and one in Madison Ga. if you look at the video they are stacked about 15-17 high.. pull up maps.google.com and look at both sites.. they have about 40,000-50,000 at the plant and about the same number at the site in Madison. So lets say 100,000 total... far cry from the 1 Million plus claimed by some people...... even if my numbers are off by 25% it is now where near what people are trying to say.
