The guy on the R1 is not that good a rider but My GOD its got some power! Ex Ian Lougher you say! Is it an ex BSB bike or similar? Gotta be 200+bhp!  Fair play for keeping up! Although an 1198R is no slouch! Good Vid!

If you earn enough money to buy a 1198R or a Desmosedici, then you can do want every you want with it. No wonder haters on youtube will never have a decent enough job to buy one, all that misspent time and ugly thoughts.

What is with all the haters on here? So a guy bought a Ducati, he bought what he wanted. I have only ever rode dirt bikes I'm still getting a 1198 because its WHAT I WANT. Its prolly what you all want. And as far as you judging people...I don't see any of you standing on any podium with Rossi or Checa. They could prolly beat y'all riding a vespa. You had to start somewhere too so STFU already

Nice vid, you both seem to fly through the group. The R1 is noticably quicker coming out of corners (where its not catching other riders) yet the 1198 seems to reel it in on the brakes? Its funny from what I know about the bikes that should be the other way round? Does the R1 have traction control? If not thats something given the 1198r does?

you should look into a gopro HD the motorsports kit comes with a suction cup. Tested it up to 150mph and it holds, even mounted on the side of the bike
