Are you sure the font should be Myriad Pro? I know Apple uses that font everywhere, but looking at your X and the X on the real box you're showing, it seems that your X's outlines aren't exactly the same: the lines on the original X are parallel, whereas yours are kinda trapezoid like, I don't know if that makes much sense but have a look and overlay them to see if it's the same, or I'm just seeing it wrong maybe...

My eraser wont work! It doesnt do the fady thing. It just flat out erases the entire thing...And I messed with the settings of It to see how to make it fady but nothing worked!!

not sure exactly what you mean, but try this.

when you select the eraser, you'll see a panel somewhere (mine is along the top of the screen) where you can select the size of the eraser circle. when you click on it, you can edit two values. One is the diameter (the size of the circle) and the other is "Hardness".

Make sure your hardness settings are very low. If they are very high, that means the edge of your circle will be very hard, and u will get a solid circle instead of the fade thing.

ok but there are lots of times that u could have used a keyboard shortcut or done it a lot faster:

when u do layer styles, on the bottom of the layer pallet (the box on the side with the layers) there is a little button with an "F" in it. click it. that is layer styles. to make the path a selection press Command+E. (pc: control+E). and uhh... yup thats it! =D but great tutorial though! :)

I dont get the part with eraser tool. sorry but im really new to photoshop, and i dont know how to put this with eraser tool so that it is smooth like you have -- while i have immediately filled with complete black the whole part of the circle of eraser tool. if someone would help me would be great. thanks!

you need to put the eraser's hardness down very much, like to 0 - 10 percent

thats not the case... it was 5 months ago, i learnt now a lot :D but i remember that i was not aware that eraser is dependent on my current brush -- with a proper brush i can make a smooth easing, not harsh one that i had when asking the question...

very cool but when you did the first gradient overlay you forgot a hint of green and on the reflection you could have used a layer mask so not to destroy the layer....not telling ya how to do it im just saying
