Animals have been provided for us by Allah (SWT) to eat. Not to make them fight! As for cutting through neck, the animal goes unconcious within a few seconds so it doesn't feel any pain. It dies before it even realises it's in pain. The movement after is muscle contraction. However in Bdesh, the slaughter is sometimes done wrong and with a blunt knife meaning the animal does feel pain or gets back up.
